    Miyuu Forest

Welcome to the Far Eastern Dark Forest of Miyuu.

If you wish to come here, you must own land here. The town is off-limits to outsiders. To own land here you must pay tribute to the Emperor.

Owning Land / Paying Tribute to the Emperor
Acceptable forms of tribute are chests full of crops or wood. Any crops or wood will do. Just fill the chest placed outside of your house before the end of the month.

Commentary: How long does it take to get a chest full of crops? About 10 to 20 minutes? We reccomend farming with a diamond hoe to start (sugarcane, wheat, carrots or potatoes) because it does not damage the hoe. This is good for beginners who do not have the /repair command yet.
If you have ExtCommands get a diamond axe and try cocobean farming.
If you have ExtCommands+ get a Eff5 Unb3 Fort3 axe and try pumpkin farming.
You could also try melon farming with a sword but pumpkins worked for me.
If you have a very large score at herbalism, wheat farming should be the best.

If you do not want to pay tribute to the Emperor in crops you may honor the Emperor with rare materials. A block of diamond, emerald or gold per chest of crops will be accepted by the Emperor.

    The Laws of Miyuu Forest
    I. You implicitly agree to follow the Server Rules. Miyuu Forest is, however, not responsible for enforcing that you have actually read them. Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the rules.
    http://www.ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Rules

II. Do not build outside your plot.
Commentary: The idea here is that your plot is defined in some way, the land inside is yours and the land outside is not yours. For example, the homes on Birch St. and Oak Cr. are sectioned by dark oak and have stone brick basements. You may not break the dark oak or the stone brick basements. As well, building higher than 11 bricks from ground floor (your street sign) is prohibited.

III. Do not alter or destroy the landscape.
Commentary: You may not mine, break or take any block which lies outside the boundaries of your land. If you break a block by accident, you must replace it. Chopping trees is allowed but you must replant them. Crops which do not automatically regrow must be replanted.

This applies to pre-built homes as well. If you really need to modify your pre-built home, you can always ask for permission. This is just to stop people form building ugly wool towers and so forth, spoiling the natural beauty of the land.

You do not need to replant the wild mushrooms if you chop them down.

    IV. Zoning
If there are no natural bounds to your plot, you may not build or break blocks below block height 60. You may build up to a height of 75 to 80. Beyond that you can build anything you want -- a shop, a motel, a hedge maze, etc.

If you wish to build higher than 80 or lower than 60 please contact a Lord or Lady for permission. It is also possible to join and split plots, to sublet plots, to build farms and so forth. But again you must ask the Town for permission and be approved before you will be allowed to do this.

    V. Support the Common Wealth of Miyuu Forest.
Commentary: Support the local shops if you can, and for shopowners try to keep prices low to drive volume. Pay your tributes on time. As the town grows and prospers we will invest more and more into the town. Soon we will become a city. Soon, we will rule the entire server. This is the natural order of things.
"The Emperor can build a village, but only a citizen can build Neo Tokyo."

VI. Love and Respect and Listen to the Emperor.
Commentary: If you are trying to find some way to break the normal expected social order of the town, this in and of itself is considered an offense against the Emperor. All citizens are expected to be happy, to work hard, and to work together, at that. If you go digging around, looking in people's windows too much, stealthing into people's homes, stealing flowers from the town, and so forth, you will not be welcome in the Town.

Always remember that Section 5 of the Server Rules states that "Mayors may remove anyone from their towns for any reason, as outlined in Clause 3 - Seizure of Property." If you are asked to leave, don't tarry or complain.

    VII. Death
If you break any of the rules of Miyuu Forest you will be put to death.
Commentary: This means you get an evicion notice. If due to the severity of your offense you are also banned by the server, we can not be responsible for your inability to vacate the premises ahead of the expiry of the notice. When the eviction notice expires everything in your house will be unlocked and the house will be placed back on the market.

    Lords and Ladies
    ------------------
All land sales are processed by Lords and/or Ladies, who are the vassals of the Emperor and may act on his behalf. A list of these people will be kept reasonably up to date in our thread here on the forums.

If you wish to buy a house it is very simple. Find a house with no owner and fill the chest full of crops you have harvested. When this is done you may contact your representative Lord or Lady to inform them that you would like to move in. Once they have checked that payment has been made and that you have agreed to these rules on the Forum you will be allowed to move in.

Lords and Ladies are paid 50% of the tribute given by their subjects (as cash, crops or gold). The payments will cease if the player is banned or evicted for cause. These rights can be assigned, bought or sold.

    Congratulations!
    おめでとうございます
    Omedetōgozaimasu!

You are now a serf in the fiefdom. Work hard at gathering crops and wood and you will succeed.

    Town of Miyuu Special Announcement

The Emperor of Miyuu Forest has decreed that the following players are not allowed within Miyuu town. This is not an attack on these players it is merely the official notice of what's required in ECC rules Section 2 Clause 3.1:

    Clause 3.1 - Trespassing

      • If a town owner asks you to leave their region for any reason and you are not a member of the region, you must comply with their request. You may not return to this region unless the applicant owner or the owner who has asked you to leave permits you to do so, by any means, including setting homes in the region (please see Section 8 Clause 4.)

In accordance with Section Clause 3.1 quoted above this is the request for these players to leave and never return to Miyuu. In addition, in-game requests may be made. The list is in no order.
