Town Features​

Real Estate:​

Land Plots

Standard rate for land in Townsville is $15 per sq/m, so a 10x10 plot is $1500.
Currently all plots are divided into 10x10 plots. If you buy adjacent plots you can remove the leaves dividing the plots and create a larger plot.

Refund Policy
Plots are NOT refundable. The town will buy plots back at 50% of the original sale price, or you can sell the plot to another user. Please note selling your plot to another user incurs a 15% stamp duty tax.

Town Rules
All residents of Townsville must abide by the town rules. You must agree to follow the town rules before joining the town. Failing to follow the rules could result in you being removed from the town immediately.

General Rules​

• Do not grief. Don't build outside your allotted area. Townsville has zero tolerance policy for griefing. All grief will be reported and offenders removed from the town immediately.​
• If you sell your plot you must pay a 15% stamp duty tax to the town.​
• In an attempt to keep an active, thriving town, you must not be inactive on the server for more than 14 days or you will risk losing your plot. No refund will be given for plots seized from inactive players. If you need to go inactive for an extended period of time inform the Town Mayor or Town Operations Manager.​

Building Rules

Residential Zones​

• You can only build 5 block down and 15 block up. If you need more space, seek approval.​
• You must only build a house or garden on a residential plot.​
• No farms are allowed on residential plots.​
• You must use a variety of material to build your house. Don't build your entire house using just one material such as cobble, wood or stone. Your house must look like a house.​
• No dirt houses. Cobblestone should be used moderately.​
• Keep within the leaves marking your plot. The grass block in front of the road is council property. You may build a fence on the first grass block but you must not build your house directly next to the road.​
• You must put a sign with your username on it somewhere in front of your plot or on the front of your house.​

Commercial Zones

Commercial zones means small shops.​

• Shops must be built in commercial zones.​
• There is a limit of 3 trade signs outside commercial zones. A few trade signs inside your house to store xp are okay, but it should not be accessible by other players.​

Large Commercial Zones​

Large ​

• Must be large, aesthetically pleasing buildings.​

Industrial (Farms) Zones

• You can only build farms in Industrial Zones. ​
• Farms must have a skin around them around them. ​
