Minecraft username:Mollywappa Reason: Town wide, extensive grief in silenthill including vulgar structures and signs. Counter-Reason: I Got in a really lame argument with the person that i griefed and lashed out in a inappropriate way and really regret it. even months latter I still feel bad and miss the community. Evidence: Not much its been way too long I don't have anything but my apologies and hope that I can be forgiven. I have learned my lesson and can promise that nothing like this will EVER happen again. Here are the rules I broke. Clause 1 - Griefing Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you. This is not allowed in protected towns under any circumstance, and the owner of a town is welcome to put in a Grief Report and Rollback Request whenever they find grief within their town in order to have it investigated. The only exception to this is in the case that the owner of the town makes griefing allowable within the town. They must inform all residents of such a rule upon the residents joining the town. When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. Hello, can you also post the rule on disallowed structures that you broke from our server rules as well?
Sorry about that here are the rules also violated on structures, here are several disallowed structures on this server, which are prohibited even in the wild: Blocks spelling out inappropriate language Signs with defamatory and/or vulgar language. Cactus farms. Player traps in non-PvP worlds. Continuous redstone clocks are not allowed. Temporary, small redstone clocks are fine so long as they are only used for a short period at a time. Farms that operate by means of Redstone Lamps or turning off the lights in order to break crops (aka. "Light farming") Any buildings deemed inappropriate by staff.
Thank you for posting that. In your appeal you seem apologetic for your actions and you also take responsibility for them as well. For your punishment, I will be reducing your ban to a 1 day tempban for your major grief and a 2 hour tempban for building disallowed structures.
