And minings now one of the best ways to get money ; p

Also rich people pushed the price of diamonds down to $60 or less

 

Rich people weren't a huge factor in the diamond price decline (Ike and Inspector may disagree with me), it was 1.3. Mining suddenly became an option of making money because of XP and cheaper Fort III picks. More people mined, so more diamond was found. More diamonds were added into an economy where the diamond demand stayed the same. Since diamonds do not have a server price, diamonds fell because there were too many diamonds and too little buyers.
