Felon Username: Chrisng263Complaint: Started an auction of 32 NStars starting at 9k. Myself and one other were bidding on them, going up by $100. He said he wanted us to go up by $1000 each bid and we wouldn't, so he canceled the auction. I don't believe that is is right, if someone was bidding on them, shouldn't he have to honor the auction?Evidence: http://imgur.com/a/QQuHf There are 4 screenshots at this link.Additional Information: None.
If you need time stamps of the screenshots, I have that as well. I will upload and post it if needed.
Hi @Dravina Having looked at your screenshots, @Chrisng263 never actually accepted a bid. As per the following rule, he is able to cancel an auction in this situation: Section 4, Clause 5 - Auction Channel By starting any auction, you are committed to sell that item. You may not cancel an auction after you have heard the first bid. Although there is no express rule on permitting limiting bids to specific increments, we permit users to specify which increments they require for their auction, so that situations are avoided where bids are being increased by $0.01 etc. As no bids have been heard however, @Chrisng263 is entitled to cancel the auction. For this reason I am going to dismiss this complaint. Locked - No rules broken.
