Accused Username: DrodudeComplaint: Trolling, Harassment, Ignoring an Admin's orders, griefing, and clearly lacks common sense. Clause 1 - Griefing Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you. Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town. When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. Please see Section 7 for rules regarding grief in the Aether, Nether and Mining World. Clause 2 - Trolling Trolling is not allowed on the server, especially any trolling that is directed towards another user. This includes, but is not limited to: Flame baiting Harassment (See Section 2 Clause 3.) Cyber-bullying Attempts to start any form of chaos and discord within the server. Clause 3 - Harassment Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play. Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based. This includes, but is not limited to; blackmail, bullying or any other form of harassment that occurs through our chat system. Attempting to kill other players in any non-PvP zone also constitutes as harassment, and succeeding in killing other players in non-PvP areas is a very severe offence that will result in a ban. Harassment is absolutely inexcusable on EcoCityCraft. If you are engaging in this behavior expect to be removed from the server with little to no warning. Disrespecting staff falls under this rule - They are players too. Clause 3.1 - Trespassing If a town owner asks you to leave their region for any reason and you are not a member of the region, you must comply with their request. You may not return to this region unless the applicant owner or the owner who has asked you to leave permits you to do so, by any means, including setting homes in the region (please see Section 8 Clause 4.) Clause 4 - Common Sense and Bending the Rules While this is a gaming environment, EcoCityCraft is also a very large community. As such, we expect that all players use their common sense. Be a good sport and a friendly community member. Common sense extends to not bending the rules. Bending the rules constitutes as very severe trolling, and is not tolerated in any form. Encouraging others to break the rules is not using your common sense. Interrupting or stealing items from server events is not using your common sense. Finding ways around the rules is punishable at administration’s discretion, from warnings all the way up to bans. Please see EcoCityCraft's General Disclaimer for more information. If you feel like a rule has a loophole or a way that it could be used to be trolly, we encourage use of our suggestions forum or contacting the administration directly in order to take a look at the rules that may need to be changed.Evidence: First collection of Images: Drodude here is clearly seen trolling, harassing @Zhao by provoking him, and being a complete <mod edit>. He also clearly lacks common sense, which, stated in Clause 4, "Common sense extends to not bending the rules," which is one of the several rules Drodude broke. Drodude not only stole 6 double chests of dirt, but has to be a huge jerk about it. Second collection of images: http://i.imgur.com/D6zsU7t.png http://i.imgur.com/VzS5ifU.png Nothing much to say here. Obvious intent to troll, and malicious intentions to ruin another player's gameplay.Additional Information: What else should I say? This user has been seen acting like a complete jerk, not just to @Zhao, but to many other players in the community. His actions are the ones of a 2 year old. I was not going to post a complaint, but I changed my mind after he (and apparently AJCowlover) decided to pour mass amounts of lava onto the town that Zhao was going to claim. People who bend the rules, and have malicious intent should not be allowed here on ECC. This user clearly does nothing on this server except ruin the gameplay experience for other users. Ecocitycraft is meant to be fun and exciting, but this user has pretty much ruined Zhao's project, and I do not want him to bully and harass other innocent community members the same way. Should this complaint be dismissed, let me ask the staff: -Is ignoring an admin's commands allowed? -Is bullying, harassing, and bending the rules allowed? -Is provoking other users and making fun of them allowed? -Is using 0 common sense allowed? -Is ruining another player's gameplay allowed? Let me answer these real quick: No, no, no, no, and no. Drodude here is the problem. And whenever we see a problem, its only right to stop it.
This was alredy forwarded to the @Game Admin team after @Zhao asked me and the other staff that were online at the time to look at it.
I am aware of that. I simply think that not enough is being done about this. Ruining another player's experience on ECC should not at all be taken lightly, but I guess its up to you and the staff team to decide if punishment (or punishments) is needed. If this is dismissed, however, I would just like to let the community know about Drodude's actions, so they can be more cautious about whether or not he is deemed trustworthy or reliable.
HI I would just like to mention something. This happened before the town app was ever filed first so this does not constitute grief and this was in the wilderness (global) at the time but now a day later victorias_secret filed a town app and got it claimed but this was before the app was posted and as stated in Clause 3 - Harassment Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play. Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based. - Bolded here because I griefed in the wild so it is not harassment This includes, but is not limited to; blackmail, bullying or any other form of harassment that occurs through our chat system. Attempting to kill other players in any non-PvP zone also constitutes as harassment, and succeeding in killing other players in non-PvP areas is a very severe offence that will result in a ban. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. - I griefed in the wild and the town app had not been posted yet Please see Section 7 for rules regarding grief in the Aether, Nether and Mining World. I also was not in fact trying to provoke him I just told him what I stole and told him what it was going to be used for and stealing from an unlocked chest in the wild is LEGAL let me repeat the chests were unlocked and in the wild. Clause 3.1 - Trespassing If a town owner asks you to leave their region for any reason and you are not a member of the region, you must comply with their request. You may not return to this region unless the applicant owner or the owner who has asked you to leave permits you to do so, by any means, including setting homes in the region (please see Section 8 Clause 4.) I did leave the his town however as this did not take place in his town correct? This took place in the global world in a unclaimed piece of land Also the screenshots were taken on 06-24-2016 While the town app for that region was not filed untill 6-26-2016
After looking into this, while @drodude's actions appear to be morally bankrupt, there is not sufficient evidence in this complaint for me prove that any rules have actually been broken.
