Your account is false. I was actually at the grinder prior to you arriving. Yes I was in vanish at the time but that isn't illegal as I explained to you already. Destroying spawners in mining is not illegal and in the past store owners have actually advised me and others to destroy spawners to protect the xp market. No use of x-ray, again as I explained I located you yesterday with /near while mining in extreme hills. Your grinder was located about 15-20 blocks below the surface and the point I dug down at was the point your name appeared at when I set home.

I wasn't trolling, Actually quite the opposite. I was trolled while farming string as you attempted to block of all access to the spawners. At which point I destroyed them, however again as I explained this is within the rules.

 

Alright here's my version (I think imabankthing will agree with this version as well as blob). Ill add my commentary in the next comment after this.

- I got pm'd by blob because he noticed his spiders were being broke and he was wondering if it was me. I told him that no it wasn't and tp'd to the spider spawner (I helped him with the water for it yesterday so I had a home there). I noticed that someone was killing the spiders while invisible.
- I told blob about the investigator perk and that it allows people to become invisible.
- For a while blob and I tried to communicate with imabankthing (we did not know who it was at the time).
- Ima bank thing used berserk so we knew who it was from mcmmo notification.
- We continued to try to talk to imabankthing yet got no response.
- About 10-20 minutes has gone by at this point.
- We place torches to try and get imabankthing to talk with us.
- Imabank thing removes torches.
- Blob blocks spawner access.
- We are going to replace torches (I said something in chat to this end)
- Imabank thing destroys spawners.
- Imabank thing fills in pit where you grind from.
-Imabank thing removes water.
-Imabank thing unstealths.
- A big conversation ensues (much of which is seen in blobs screens).

 

Pretty much agree with everything above @RyanBlocks2 apart from the timing of destroying spawners which is irrelevant on this complaint anyway but I destroyed the spawners after @Blobofdoom blocked off access from below, So spiders no longer dropped. From my perspective, I was the one trolled and furthermore accused of hacking neither of which I take kindly too. I don't see the issue with me being /v, especially given I was actually at the location prior to @Blobofdoom being anywhere in sight. I was farming string while watching netflix which is why local chat was missed.

 

Ok so commentary.

Honestly, I feel like I could have handled this situation a lot better than I did. Mostly instead of placing torches we should have just left imabankthing to farm even though it was frustrating. We were just trying to speak with the invisible person and were sort of upset that they wouldn't even speak with us. Still the better decision on my point would have been to leave.

I think imabankthing also could have done much better. My question is

1) Why when asked to please just show yourself do you feel the need to stay invisible and ignore. You really cant just say something like "Im here and Im gonna be farming this farm"

2) Why do you have to fill in the pit where you grind from. You had already destroyed the spawners (the spawner is usless at this point) yet you feel the need to fill in the pit where both I and blob are standing while you are invisible. Why surround us in blocks? There is literally no purpose to this. Why not just leave/ This is my big problem with the situation.

I assume you were just frustrated feeling like you are being trolled for #2?

I filled in half the area I had been standing in farming the string. At the point, I did this both you and @Blobofdoom had gone up the ladder to the location of the spawners. Once @Blobofdoom came back down the ladder I stopped placing the cobble and went above to the spawner area and placed more random cobble. At this point, I was simply bored as I no longer had spiders to kill.

I would never have destroyed the spawners had it not been that I felt I was being trolled. I came across the location yesterday and set a home as @Blobofdoom was farming at the time. If trolling was my aim I would have trolled while he was at the spawner, not returned the next day to grind the spawners.

I am still online since this incident (haven't logged out) and will gladly share my screen with any game admin should that be required in relation to the x-ray accusation. Not that I should be required to given the explanation above, I bought a feature and used it to it's full advantage. Nothing more or less.

Yes, very close to the surface and directly above where @Blobofdoom was standing (your name tag appears even from above btw) As he wasn't /v, he appeared on /near.

 

I'm just going to account for any potential rule violations from this account of the actions:

X-Ray:
It's very easy to find others with /near in the mining world, and sometimes those people happen to be using spawners. A hole down to a spawner reported after the fact is not sufficient to prove X-Ray.

Trolling / Harassment:
The most apt description of trolling in this case would be harassment and from our rules:

• Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play.
  • Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based.

Basically, it isn't illegal to use someone else's spawners, nor is it illegal to break them. While these actions may be generally unpleasant they aren't illegal.

Abuse of /v:
Abuse of a feature really only occurs when the feature is being used to violate another rule. Just as someone is allowed to use or grief your spawners in the mining world, they are allowed to be in vanish as they do it.


While I understand these actions aren't exactly nice, they are not against the rules.

Also I'd like to take in to account that we can't accept cropped screenshots as evidence (like most of the ones you've provided). Normally I would ask for the uncropped versions to be submitted, however in this case neither the screenshots nor any of the accounts provided really allege that the rules were broken. In the future, uncropped screenshots will be needed for action to be taken off of a complaint.
