I didn't know that was offensive... It's true that one of the principles of Christianity is to follow the rules laid out in the bible, and that the book is nearly 2 centuries old... I apologize if that was offensive. Didn't think it'd bother anyone.
You were implying that because the bible is 2 centuries old, it is outdated and shouldn't be followed. Either way it doesn't belong here. Go to tumblr for that. Edit: Implications DO matter. Don't assume that everyone will take what you say literally. I'm not offended. Please note the use of the ";'(" smilely. It should be obvious that I wasn't serious about being offended. Like I said above, the literal is different from the implied.
I was? o.o that's news to me. I was implying that I would rather choose how I act, on my own terms. Not someone else's, be it from a 2,000 year old book, or directly from someone's mouth. It wasn't meant to say that you shouldn't follow the teachings of Christianity, but that I personally don't want to.
Thank you @oxwood2 for filing this complaint.. Unfortunately, from the screenshots you've provided, there isn't enough to issue a warning to @Maizah. He was simply stating that he's true to himself. He used the word "religious" as a descriptive word to mean that he will always be true to himself. Yes he brought up the bible, but he did not call it by name and the 'discussion' lasted a full sentence then ended... so it was not even really a discussion. Complaint dismissed - Locked
