I will be discussing this with Ndm, Matrix, and xx3 in a forum pm.

 

Clause 3 - Seizure of Property & 3 Day Eviction Notices

• By owning the town, a town Mayor has the right to remove you from the town at any time, for any reason, so long as the Mayor gives the user a 3 day eviction notice.
  • An eviction notice may be given by in-game (either by PM or /mail) or by tagging evicted users in a thread in the Town Evicitions sub-forum within the Towns Discussion forum. It is not required to post a thread for any eviction, although it may be easier if you are evicting multiple users.
  • The eviction notice must contain the name of the town. Be sure to collect evidence of this for LWC Removal Requests and/or proof should it be required at a later date. It is crucial that the screenshot has a timestamp (double tap f2).
  • If the user being evicted has LWCs in the town and the Mayor intends to file an LWC Request to have them removed, the eviction notice must include a specific request that the user removes their locks within the 3 days.
  • The evicted user must have had the opportunity to view the eviction notice. If the user has not been online, in-game or on the forums depending on how the eviction notice was issued, during the 3 day period then the eviction is not valid. The mayor or co-mayor must wait until the user is inactive (at least 7 days offline) or has been online to view to the notice before removing the user from the town or filing an LWC Removal Request.
• Only the Official Owner or the Legal Owner of the town may evict players who are region owners/co-mayors.
• However, under the following circumstances, the 3 day eviction criteria need not be met and the user may be removed from the town:
  • A user is inactive (by staff standards, this means at least 7 days offline.)
  • A user who has been banned for griefing in the town or warned by a staff member as a result of a Grief Report.
  • Players added to a region for a specific job upon completion of work or termination of employment.

Lets bring an analogy into this situation. I am the head chef of a kitchen, one of my workers makes multiple PUBLIC announcements to everyone in the restaurant stating that my food is shit. Will he be fired? Absolutely.

This is the same thing that happened today on my favorite server, Ecocitycraft. A user by the name of @Ndm57dcraft began harassing me in global stating that I rigged my casino and that it was shit. In turn I dismissed him from his job as a casino worker, since he obviously did not respect my craft. He then went on to troll lock chests in the town claiming he had property as a last ditch to get his wonderful job back.

I will not be adding this user back to this town.

I am sorry for my rage at you via local chat, I was truly hurt by your actions.

@matrix_rep Well I really wanted to handle this in the forum pm I sent... but since you seem to want to handle it here:

I'm going to give you 24 hours here to post evidence of an agreement on a job, with a specified end date or end criteria.

Edit: Also upon further investigation, it was @xX3PICREBELXx who removed ndm illegally. Since you (matrix) are refusing to add him back though, I'll still be addressing you in this

1. Why are you addressing matrix_rep and letting him speak on behalf of MY casino? I am the owner of /warp debt and his simply a resident co-mayor, he isn't allowed to add anyone to the town without my permission and that's the way it should stay. If I say ndm cannot be added back to the town then matrix isn't allowed to add him.

2. Please disregard ALL comments made by matrix_rep, I will not let that DRUNK handle this situation.

3. I accidentally added ndm57dcraft to the town of debt, upon realising this as I came to the town and noticed he was harassing NUMEROUS users I removed his permissions. He had no property in the town, you can check this via logs.

4. I refuse to add him back - ban me if you must.

 

After some deliberation, and some digging, I've found that ndm was added to the town two months ago. @xX3PICREBELXx since you are the one who removed him please provide evidence that he was in an agreement with set end criteria. You have 24 hours to provide this evidence, or if you can't, add Ndm back to the town and give him a proper eviction.

Property ownership doesn't matter; if a user is added to a town without an agreement for a job with set end criteria they MUST be given an eviction notice and three days to gather their items. Your comments about matrix were unnecessary and you misled by saying that you had added ndm by mistake. Your behavior has been abysmal. Stay professional on this complaint.

 

I didn't take screenshots of a deal I made with a former friend - I shall not be adding this user back to the town @Imaginex


Do what you must - I am sorry that it has come to this.

This complaint can now be resolved with ndm having 72 hours to collect his shit and leave.












@Imaginex I am upset with the way this was ultimately handled, you have publicly called my behaviour abysmal despite having my co-operation through with me responding to your messages regularly and on the topic. It''s a shame behaviour such as the following happened behind closed doors as then it may give the rest of the server more of an insight into this situation.


Not only is this message by ndm incredibly ironic it created an atmosphere in which I was unable to function "profesionally" due to the emotional effect his slanderous words had impacted on me.


It is a shame that you have been BLINDED into this decision but I must stand by it to prevent OVERLORD DEVELOPER removing me for 3 months - GOOD DAY.



I shall now let @matrix_rep handle this complaint as I believe out of the two of us he is the more responsible and mature user who will be able to resolve this peacefully.
