[User Complaint] Pilot3101

I was very stupid to do that. And I am very truely sorry. I feel like a idiot for doing this

 

Wow.

I was hoping users would learn from my disobedience in copying ideas.

I went on the server myself, and the spawn is exactly the same one I submitted, just few things world edited out.

Also, I let pilot know that what he has done to spawn does not have my own permission. Therfor taking what myself and Pibbert have built without permission.

May i ask why i was tagged in your first complaint?

 

Because you copied ECC too and took players/mods from ECC. Thats all I am saying

Here is some more information that should be given:

I have taken my chances to go onto this server and see what Pilot3101 has to say. Pilot3101 used my own submission for the ECC Spawn Building Competition and has now edited many parts of it with world edit to his own extent. He does in fact believe the changes he has made are okay and has said he will be changing the spawn in a few days. He will be changing the spawn because of the fact that an unnamed (Staff Team may ask me if need be) user is creating a new spawn for his server.

After noticing that my own submission (which I copied some parts of from the user Pibbert) was being used on another server without my own personal discretion, I asked Pilot3101 to please remove the spawn. I believe I do have permission to say this, being that you should in fact have my own permission to use this. From my own personal experiences, users should have learned that...

1. Copying is wrong.
2. Make sure whom is copied is okay with it.
3. Give credit where credit is due.

Overall, after talking to Pilot3101, he says he is sorry when he is on EcoCityCraft, but when he is on his own server, he does not care about EcoCityCraft whatsoever.
Once again, I am sorry if this is not needed, but believe it could be considered a critical part of this complaint

I think you'll find i did not "take" ECC's players, they came to me. And as for the 'copying' part - i think you'll find that your server is a lot more 'copied' than mine.
Also i'd like to add, just because I've started up a server, doesn't mean to say that because i played here for a long time i copied ecc, And if your saying i copied ecc and andrews hard work, then is all the other hundred or more economy driven servers copying ECC too? I think you'll find your slightly mistaken if your answer is yes.

I am gonna ask that no one else besides pilot talk in this thread I will hand out warnings after this post.

 

I think it would have been better JamieSinn for you to pm this to andrew as this is causing allot of flame and was not right of you to post so everyone can see it.

 

Another thing, why this has all just came about on ECC i have no idea, first off, clou44 has helped me countless times on the essentials Mibbit chat, zedoker has been on my server whilst he was staff on ECC and quite a few ECC players joined my server and knew about it, so i dont see what the issue it.
