In Game Name: Fr0zenTigerWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: VMR ServerShort title for your suggestion: Disable stacking for sniffersWhat are you suggesting: As the title says, I am pleading for sniffers to be removed from the list of mobs that will stack.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: In total you need 50 items provided by sniffers. These 50 items consist of the following: - 10x pitcher_pod - 10x torchflower_seeds - 10x pitcher_plant, obtained by planting a pitcher pod on farmland and letting it grow - 10x torchflower, obtained by planting torchflower seeds on farmland and letting them grow - 10x sniffer_egg (not to be confused with sniffer_spawn_egg) which is obtained by breeding 2 sniffers. When a sniffer hatches from a sniffer egg it takes 40 minutes to grow into an adult. As an adult, it will dig up one pitcher pod or torchflower seed every 8 minutes. For a single sniffer to dig up the 20 pitcher pods and 20 torchflower seeds will therefore take over five hours of waiting around that area, if your rng is perfect that is. While this should take less time with more sniffers, the advantage of having more sniffers is nullified as soon as they stack, from which point the stacked mob will behave like a single sniffer. I am therefore suggesting one of 2 options: A) Make sniffers unstackable like turtles. Sniffers are just as hard as turtles, especially when you take into consideration the fact that you first have to go look for 2 sniffer eggs (which have a 6.7% chance of dropping when using a brush on a block of suspicious sand in a warm ocean ruin). For imaging, this takes an extra ~2 hours of searching. B) Let sniffers stack, but multiply the amount of drops by the amount of sniffers in the stack.Other information: Thanks for the read.
