doubling it is still not worth it at all to play it. 500k for 1st place would never need to be lowered with how much money gets put into the economy. If vmr puts 1mil into the economy from 1-5th place prizes, that would be absolutely nothing compared to what is put into the economy on main. No one should put in 10+ hours on vmr just to get a measly prize of 250k.

 

Plus one step closer to prestige. By this logic, skyblock should give out ECD for top islands (or bring back /isr), which isn’t beneficial

 

Except that VMR generally requires a ton of active playtime, versus skyblock which mostly just requires alts.

If there was a way to pay out for skyblock tied to active play, it could be beneficial if it got people away from the magic tools.
