Other people might come by and say, "Whoa six free nether stars, what a score!" And leave without thinking twice. I apologize for my bluntness but the best remedy for this scenario is to just not have a full inventory when you log off.

 

And what were to happen if a Butcher were to come along after I voted for 6 months straight? Hundreds of nether stars just went poof.

 

Last I was informed, there are no item butchers? :s And I once voted for a week straight without logging on - when I finally logged on, I never got more than half of the nstars I voted for. I'm guessing they don't stay forever in "queue;" whether intentional or not. As well... What is the likelihood of your scenario happening? :b

I'd love for nstars to either wait for a space and go on the ground, but you do get 10-30 seconds upon logging in to make space in your inventory. Even slow typers can type "/sell dirt 64" fast enough.

 

I was not aware that item butchers were disabled, but the scenario of "netherstars at risk" is still at work

 

Have you ever heard the saying "you snooze, you lose" I think this should apply to your comment. If you aren't going to check to see if your inventory is full, then you miss out on the opportunity.

What "issue"?

 

First, you're not supposed to tag andrewkm. He is very busy and doesn't have time to deal with something a small as "[Derp]". Second, the reason I said derp was because I asked a question which a easily found later making it derpworthy. So it wasn't exactly off-topic and there is no problem that a GA+ can fix, since there isn't even a problem.

 

solution: don't vote when you're not sure if you have space left.

 

If this had to happen, and you voted and your nstars fell on the ground. Its your responsibility on whether or not they fall in your inventory, or someone elses for that matter. If someone ran by and took my '12 netherstars' i had just voted for, there isnt much you could do about it really. Its up to you on what goes in your inventory, and what comes out. Just saying.
