Hello ECC! As some of you may be aware I am currently remodeling my town, in the name of 'the_defenders'. For this I will be investing quite a large sum of money and time/effort. I will be splitting this post up using spoilers. Included will be pictures/pricing's and things I need from the community of ECC! 1) Pathways/Lighting Spoiler I am thinking about 2 different types of pathways, as you can see below, I will price up the cost of 1 of each item and estimate how much I will need: Spoiler 1: A plain oak path, with oak leaves and glowstone lamps: I currently own 11 and a half stacks of slabs, although I will need more. I also have plenty of wood to make stairs with. I also have plenty of leaves and wood for fences, although I will need more. I will need Glowstone though! Pricing: 1 Glowstone Block= 0.40 1 Leave Block= 0.10 1 Oak Stair= 0.05 1 Fence= 0.15 1 Oak Slab= 0.02 Total Cost for one row= $1.72 (at server price), I cannot begin to think how many rows I will need! 2: Stone Brick Pathway: As I own only the leaves and fences, I need to buy in the rest. Pricing: 1 Stone Brick Slab= 0.05 1 Stone Slab= 0.05 1 Leaf Block= 0.10 1 Glowstone Block= 0.40 1 Fence: 0.15 1 Stone Brick Stair= 0.05 Cost for 1 Row: $1.75 (at server price), I cannot think what amount I will need! 2) Houses/Living Areas Spoiler I currently just sell plots, up to 20x20. I would like to, now, just sell pre-builts. I will make a range of different houses to sell, of which I currently have no pictures (coming soon!), I may think about selling plots but I think they make the town look messy. I am guessing in total I will end up spending about 35-40k on building materials alone. 3) Farm Area Spoiler I currently own a small 50x50x5 pumpkin farm where I do not sell perms, I use for myself and town residents. I was thinking I could sell perms for $650 per week. Let me know what you think! 4) Jobs/Budget Spoiler I am thinking of employing some builders/residents to build/help with the town. If you know of any companies on ECC that are cheap, let me know! As for my Budget, I will tell you my ideas: Spoiler Current Balance: Just under $90,000 Building Materials: max. $45,000 Workers: max. $25,000 Balance Left Over (if all goes to plan): $20,000 5) Can YOU help me? Spoiler I am looking for people to help me build, plan and supply materials for me. Spoiler Builders: If you own/work for a construction company that can build/help me build homes for cheap let me know below. I will open Applications very soon Town Planners: I need 2 people experienced in planning towns to help me out. The wage will be $1,500 each, although prices are negotiable.
