We should have kit free survival games for people who do not have and/or cannot afford kits. We should also have longer survival games with a longer grace period to make them last longer, which some players may enjoy. many people do not want to invest in a SG kit because they are not sure they will enjoy them. Also, many people just enjoy kit free survival games, and have their promise of a kit-free SG dashed by someone who did not hear or care about the fact it was wished to be kit-free. also, for many players, including me think there should be longer Survival Games, so that nocturnal monsters and hunger can be an aspect of survival games. I hope you will consider and possibly (and hopefully) implement these ideas. -ROCKCOLLECTOR64
Kit-free survival games have already been implanted after a while of begging the staff to add it. I do not think that a whole, always kit-free survival game map will be added. Also, as for the longer grace period, some may think it is a good idea while others think of it as bad. I do not think that it will happen in the near future because I do not know of many who want it. This comes down to what the staff thinks of this idea and majority voting.
I'll address this in two parts, no kits and the grace period. Okay, so, kit free survival games. This has been suggested over, and over, and OVER again. Seriously, the amount of people that have requested this is hilarious. This will never fully happen, because too many people have put hundreds of dollars into the server to have their advantage. Plus, there are already no kit matches, it's a 1/8 chance of happening. Kits have been nerfed to attempt to not give donors as much as an advantage, but their advantages will never go away. As for the 5 minute grade period?? Seriously? Out of the many SG suggestions, I haven't seen this very often, if ever. But no. This too, will never happen. Within those 5 minutes, players will disperse over the map and once those 5 minutes are up, no one will be able to find each other. The reason the deathmatch was added was so that the players didn't have to spend forever looking for that once little camper that hides out the entire game, drawing it out and making the game irritable. With the grace period the way it is, it keeps the games nice and short. Keeps people from being able to hide themselves, yes, but it's not a game meant to last half an hour.
I don't see why we can't have 3 always kit arenas and 1 always non kit arena. At least that way people will know it's not kit before it starts and will be more likely to join.
The 5 minute grace period is wayyyy to long. I was looking at how long my recent sg's have been while i was playing with my 3 close friends each one was around 2 minutes. That means one minute of actually fighting. People would loose intrest if it was 5 minutes.
As stated above, the extent of kit-free arenas has already been implemented. There's already a chance of getting kit free, I highly doubt there will be a 100% kit free arena put in. As for the 5 minute grace period, yeah, that's WAY too long. I very rarely SG, and when I do it's mainly for the lols, but I wouldn't want to wait 5 minutes to run around and get killed. I'm sure the heavy SGers on the server wouldn't want to wait 5 minutes either. Their main goal is likely get in, kill everybody for points and money, and move on to the next game. TL;DR: -1
I see your points, and i agree with your standings (though personally, I'd enjoy hunting down the random campers.)

Ok, five minutes is gratuitous. but my point still stands, in the fact it may not only be enjoyed by current members, it may also persuade other hardcore "Hunger Games" server people to our server. it would also make a great monthly tournament. also, if people get disintrested, they can always quit.
Maybe a 2 minute grace period would suffice over the current one minute grace, but five minutes is uncalled for. Anyways, -1 for both suggestions.
As i said, five minutes is gratuitous. I just went with it because it was the first number i thought of.
I personally work on SG quite a bit nowadays, and I really like the idea of allowing mobs to spawn, I think extending the grace period isn't a bad idea either, but maybe having it exclusive to kitfree's may be a good idea. Though, the grace period extension may be a bit out of reach for the amount of changes in code needed. PS. 1/4 Chance for a kit free every game
