It can be. If you don't already have what is known as a "Pumpkin Axe," which has Eff5 Unb3 and optional is Silk1 or For3. I know you are only a resident and have bigger things to focus on, like mayor, but melon farming generates the most profit the fastest in my opinion. No need to wait for wheat or netherwart to grow you can just keep farming and farming. As for now, keep pumpkin farming and do whatever you do to earn money until you get 85k for mayor. I would then start saving for a melon sword, farms melons the fastest and has Eff5 Silk1 and Unb3 (optional). Also you can refer to this thread too for farming information and maybe you could even toss in your opinion. Wouldn't hurt :p

Those can anywhere from 350k-400k. They are quite the pretty penny, but worth it; this is why I recommend mayor first so then you could either gain money selling plots or make a bigger farm than you already have for more farming profit... or even both!

 

I'd avoid renting, you don't make enough money to warrant the trouble. I'd recommend buying extcommands before getting a msword as well. Also... Melon swords make 17k an hour, but eff 7picks make 30k. *hint*

Oh cry me a river. It is not too op when it costs $550k ish in netherstars to buy.

 

Eff7 does not make 30k an hour. If you were very persistent and lucky and knew at what cords to mine at you might make 30k in an hour. But it's not a guarantee by any means.. If you were very bad at mining you could make close to nothing every hour, or if you are extremely bad at mining *blushes* you might get killed by a skeleton and make negative 550k in an hour (totally not an example pertaining to me)
