As many of you know, spawned mobs cannot be transferred between worlds. This creates a potential problem with the Olympic horse race coming up, as many players would not be able to bring their own horse to the event. If the race was held in Rising, people with horses stabled in Legacy could not use their own horse, and vice versa if the race was in Legacy. This poll is intended to see how many horses are spawned in each world in order to hold the horse race in the world that would allow as many people as possible to use their own horse.
Should we be posting here as well? I have a nice amount of horses in both worlds that I could lend out if needed
I know it would mean twice as much planning and effort but it would be great if races could be hosted in each world so everyone has a chance.
If the poll turns out to be legacy, riders can use some of my horses for the event. We have many to choose from!
I voted "Rising", but the sad truth is that someone killed my horse. He was slow a molasses and smelled like barn, but I miss him terribly... sniff.
Since there is roughly an equal amount of player-owned horses in both worlds, we will be holding two races, one in Rising and one in Legacy. There will be stables available for people to keep their horse for the races, and players are responsible for the transportation of their own horses to and from the race locations. Further updates about the horse races will be posted on official Olympic threads. If a staff member could lock this thread, that would be great.
My only 2 horses are in legacy. I also have a Donkey in one of my other legacy towns. Good luck with your race! Locked Upon Request.
