Hello Turtwiginator95 again,
I was wondering why pvp is disabled in the wild? Couldnt the sever be policed by the players easily? (For example)Lets say if some players have a town and a raiding party is building up and over their walls? Wouldnt it be easier for the mayor/co-mayor/ residents to defend there town from these invaders? Because I myself am a scavenger in the wild I like to travel around using /wild and have seen many town walls with stacks of sand, cobble stone, or any other cheep resource covering them.
This is actually just a question lol did something happen to change this? Or has it always been this way?
.Thank you for your time.

If you have a problem with people climbing over your walls when you do not want them, as a mayor/town owner, ask them to stop. If they do not, get a staff member involved.

nicit6 I do not have that problem lol my town is in the middle of an ocean, but the closest thing Ive experienced to what your suggesting was when some troll was in a town I was living as a builder I personally thought he was amusing, however other didnt and couldn't do anything about it because the mayor or cos werent online.
I digress, that was off topic I didn't make this thread to propose a change (I stated that in the original question) I wanted to know if it had always been like that? I'm on a quest looking for an answer not someones judgement lol so has the wild always been a non-pvp zone? If not wants the back story? Does anyone know? Im curious about the servers past Xp -

Oh my bad, I misunderstood. Back in the olden days (before my time at least, not sure exactly when this was changed) the mining world was resident+ exclusive and PVP-Enabled. As far as I know, the main world's wild has never been PVP, but I could be wrong. -

Wow O.O thag would have been chaos! Im glad it was changed ._.

As Kuke said, PVP in the wild was a thing once... Users with enchanted gear and potions would literally follow new users, old users - any users - and hunt them down as if they were starving and needed meat. In the end, it was basically bullying, and people couldn't do anything without dying constantly.

Trust me I understand where you are coming from, but this is a economy server and not a pvp server. If this were to happen I am sure that people would gang up with full protection 4 and sharp 5 axes/swords. When this happens this will turn into factions rather than a economy. Then with all the factions clashing eventually one would win and the rest would lose. After this that one faction would rule and control a lot more then they should. There is a reason ECC contains pvp in arenas and the nether. In other words it would simply change the server in a negative way.
