Every time attempted
Result:
Received the message "This item cannot be upgraded"
Expected Result:
Magic Netherite tools to be up-gradable (And not have smithmaster interfere or diminish functionality of this new feature)

same thing happening with me on an L2 pick that has netherite

Sorry this may not be a bug. I thought it was at the time as I had attempted to upgrade the netherite tools before a comprehensive list was published on the wiki.

Unless I'm missing something, it still definitely needs to be implemented for the netherite variants since everyone should be fully upgraded to netherite by now, and would be an absolute sham if not since my owning and using one feat disqualifying it to be used with another much more expensive feat is absurd.

I agree with this, upgrade should work on netherite tools people couldn't know that this was going to be implemented. Because if they did they wouldn't have upgraded.-
