-1 the abuse of this feature no matter what the cost will be catastrophic not to mention I don't want world edit players running around x.x

 

Indeed it's possible. But when WorldEdit Apps use to be available, you could only apply for a placement of Dirt, Cobble, or Stone.

 

-1. It would be potentially dangerous. Imagine if I world edited a ton of diamonds as my town? Or melons? Or w/e. Or I joined a town and wiped the entire thing out?

Too many things could happen because of this.

However, if ECC had a creative world, maybe similar to the purpose of the aether, and World Edit was a donation feature, that might be really cool.
