Hello everybody! I know there are like millions of topics saying "is this PC good for minecraft" and I am going to make another one :). I have kinda created this build without really looking at to much actual specs and it only took me like 10 minutes to make (To be honest, I chose most of the parts by their star rating  ) But I am wanting to know, is this a good computer build for minecraft on ECC? I am really wanting the build to be $600 or below and I did go a little bit over on this one, but one in the $600-$630 range would be good. I do a fair amount of PvP on here, and I mainly need something that wont lag, and if at all possible, I want to run everything on max settings. I am open to ALL suggestions because this would be my first PC build. If you are up for it, feel free to post anything I might need to know and even your own computer specs. Thanks for the help everyone!!
And by the way, here is the quick build I made up, is it any good? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2IN79
Thanks again! -Illinifan

Thanks for the suggestion MrBubblez98! I do like the graphics card in that build :)

Things to keep in mind about PC build:
-DVD drive are becoming obsolete now
-DDR4 RAM is here, it will probably be implemented into PCs late this year or next year.
-USB 3.1 is here, 10 GBPS I believe (Probably not going to be implemented for another 2-3 years)
-Windows XP is no longer going to be updated beginning April 8, Vista is dead in terms of updates, 7 is next on the chopping block probably (windows may chop 8 next due to its fail)
-Windows 9 next year :)
-OEM software may have company logos and software on it
futureeeeeeeeeeee
-Also probably wouldn't go with AMD (had some bad experiences with it) intel is better gaming in my opinion.
-Last bullet point! sorry to spam you with tons of stuff! xD You can buy cheap desktops and add a graphics card that's high endish for like $100? -
Thanks Thecreator767! I also now dont have to spent money on an OS because i can get a copy free from my mom. What bad experiences have you had with AMD? Im am hearing its much better for a budget build than Intel, even though i did put it in my first build. Here are two other builds i made, what do you think of them? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2MQgX http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2N9vC

I feel like AMD is just slower in general. I've heard that there is no room to OC and that they run very hot. Also, they don't have hyperthreading, that means that their 8 core CPU would be just like intel's 4 core.
In my opinion, if you're going to game, you should go with the intel core series 3rd gen or so.
If you'd like to find something to give you the most for your dollar,
http://gpuboss.com/
Also there's CPU boss and SSD boss
A SSD will also make your computer run VERY fast compared to a 7200 RPM HDD :) just keep in mind data transfer speeds.
Your build looks pretty good. I'm not an engineer or anything xD, but I've taken a few entry level classes on computers and how they work.
-Processor looks pretty good. (I believe the a10 is designed to run BF4, but it is rated as slower than the i3 3240)
-Motherboard is fine idk about its chipset
-Good amount of RAM. Windows and background programs take 1-2 so you have plenty to use for MC or storing a game in RAM
-Contemplate trading the HDD for SSD for much better load time on OS.
-Video card looks pretty nice, but if you want to find benchmark tests, go to GPUBOSS and see their statistics on the best one for the money or for high performance.
-Wifi adapter looks pretty good. May want to read reviews for your parts because they can be faulty, cheaply made, or not pick up signal well.
-Case Pretty nice, but you could probably go cheaper (Cheap options can be found for 20-30$
-According to your part picker, it uses 284 watts, but this data can be skewed. You can go for a lower wattage PSU, but this will lower your expansion room and cost a bit less)
-Disc drive is mostly useless in PCs today. Unless you plan on installing windows via disc, an external USB drive would probably suffice if you have it.
Your parts are pretty good, but you may want to consider trading in the CPU & HDD and finding a cheaper case?
Just my 2 cents. -
Thanks again Thecreator767! I might take a look at some options and post another build :)
