As you all know, New Years Eve is coming up, and I wanted to do something special. On New Years Eve, I will be hosting a huge firework event in my town FallingWater. It will be amazing. I am hoping to shoot off about 1000 fireworks, so donations would be helpful. Some things I need: LOTS if gunpowder and paper Dyes of all colors Diamonds and glow stone dust (For afterword effects) Fire Charges, Feathers, Golden Nuggets, and Heads (For Explosion) Large donations would be helpful, and would make this show just even more spectacular. 1.5 comes out in January, however Mojang is releasing a 1.4.6 quite soon so fireworks can be enabled for New Years. Most likely, Andrew will disable fireworks. andrewkm WeWinAgain Possibly enable them for New Years Eve and New Years Day? I agree, it would cause some lag, but it would be worth it for just this one day.

But will fireworks be enabled? I think they'll stimulate the market for gunpowder and the other materials used in making fireworks. And I don't think they'll cause that much server lag, due to the fact nothing, except for the item going out of your in inventory, is updating.
Lets face it, they will be quite expensive to make and therefore will be hard to obtain lots unless you are welikeike22, however it would be fun to see them enabled for new year

Well, yuo got it updated before Christmas even. I think lots like the update, not my favorite though.
