The Zodiac Chronicle Picon Police Department Zodiac Nation Date: Friday, December 20th What: Explosion Where: 201 Embassy Road and surrounding area. Details of event: In the early hours on Thursday, December 19, an explosion was set off near the Zodiac Embassy. This resulted in almost the complete destruction of 4 buildings, as well as damaging the Embassy. The surrounding area was evacuated and cornered off almost immediately. Deaths amounted to 7, deaths and 14 more were injured because of the incident, but several civilians did sustain minor injuries. Evidence found: -Footprints were found leading to an area where we believe a small boat docked. -Due to the devastation caused by the explosion, much of area of interest has sunken to the bottom of the ocean, making the investigation difficult. -A yellow aura covering the area is believed to be connected with the explosive device in question, ruling out an accident as the cause of the blast. -Evidence points to the device used being a piece of highly advanced technology, suggesting that this was a planned attack by a professional. Interview Evidence: Zodiac Embassy Secretary: “No.. no, I didn’t see any suspicious people or hear anything the night of the attack, it was pretty quiet over here.” “The Delegates, at the time, were all retired for the night. They had a meeting later that day.” Gate Bridge Construction Workers: “Early in the morning, we noticed a yellow light coming from the ocean, it seemed like it was rocking.. like on a small boat.” “The explosion.. was crazy… Just glass breaking everywhere and fires breaking out. We’re lucky we didn’t fall right into the ocean…” Passing By Ship Mates: “We heard it and saw it from miles away.. must’ve been made out of some high-tech materials…” Actions taken: No official action has been taken; evidence is very vague, not enough to act upon. Picon was put on lockdown, in response to the bombing. Expect an official response from the Picon Administration in the following days.
