The Journey to the End - Factions

It was the day of the reset and a skype conversation was being held between a few players. Just as factions reset a player named Shadow_Hopper or me suggested lets be the first ones to end. So that is where are journey starts.

We had run out around 2000 blocks and were about to mine to get some obsidian when we realised we got it from voting. So we all voted and we had enough obsidian to make a nether portal. The only problem now was we needed a flint and steel. While codeman9001 and QTmadnessQT went mining to find iron I went hunting for gravel. We found what we wanted and met back at where the nether portal was going to be with Mr_LightViper standing guard so no one found it. We lit the portal and we had access to the nether to get blaze rods for the eyes of ender. We did not need enderpearls as conveniently /kit starter came with some.


So we entered the nether. When we got in we decided to split up so we would find a nether fortress a lot quicker. After grueling swims in lava and countless attacks from pigmen and ghasts were held off QTmadnessQT shouts that he has found one. We all teleport to him and begin farming some blaze rods after a close shave with a wither we had enough blaze rods to make into blaze powder and therefore make into eyes of ender. Before leaving codeman9001 suggested we should silk touch the spawners. So after being forced to spend 25 tokens on a silk touch pickaxe we mined both the spawners.


We then headed back to the overworld out of the hell hole we were in and started to look for an end portal. We threw the first eye of ender and there we had the direction. After we had traveled for a while we realised that we were heading towards spawn. This then put doubts in our minds like what if the end portal was claimed by war zone. but regardless we carried on. Around 300 blocks outside of spawn the eye of enders were indicating that the portal was below us. At this point we dug straight down ignoring the first rule of minecraft. We got into the stronghold then quickly found the portal room. We silk touched the silver fish spawner and after bargaining we let QTmadnessQT have it.


At this point we sent codeman9001 off shoping to get us some redstone for a piston. He came back and we then had the piston to pick up the dragon egg. We put the remaining eyes of ender in the portal and jumped through. I was the first into the end, followed by QTmadnessQT who was followed in by codeman9001 and bringing up the rear was Mr_LightViper. We then got our first look at the majestic beast which is the ender dragon. After a long fight we had finally defeated the dragon with no casualties other than me stubbing my toe on the side of my bed. We placed the piston and put a lever down and pulled it. We had the dragon egg! We decided that as it was my idea to go to the end first that I should keep the dragon egg (or atleast that's my reasoning for it).

So that is the story of how in under 1 hour and 30minutes of the factions server being reset we got to the end and defeated the ender dragon. This journey shows 3 boys turning into men and codeman9001 finally turning into a teenager!

Thanks guys and fats I would of done but my computer was barley running minecraft on its own when we were attempting it!
