Its annoying when you join the server and clear lag is due in 20 seconds but as you joined after the 20 second message, you don't know clear lag is coming. I would like it where the essentials motd in chat when you join survival, says if clear lag is due and if so in how many seconds... like if you agree.. Oliver (Mnstrr)
All I say is that clear lag should burn in hell it stole my 2 lucky pick axes and my prot 2 diamond boots with the furr and now I'm mad.
yes but if you read the original post the whole reason for this thread is that it can happen when someone first logs on and they won't even know it
it souldnt be that hard to collect your items as soon as they drop is the thing because it doesnt clear for like 10 minutes or 5 minutes at a time
The issue is when he comes online and doesn't know. Like if it is within 20 seconds and you get on, you don't know it's coming.
i try to wait for the clearlag to be over to drop things. you can always use cmodded chests for trading and such.
A message with: 'clearlag in 3,2,1' would be really nice. The majority of people don't even notice the clearlag message due to the spam in chat sometimes. So if there are 3 different messages with clearlag in 3,2,1" that would grab the attention of players and they will notice it It's just a suggestion
lots of people would stop complaining about that if clear leg or clearance as I like to call "him" if there was a clear lag in 3,2,1 in chat but then people may ask for more seconds to be added cuz what if they broke one of there chests but 5 seconds would top it for me 3 secs is still good
yes like everyone complains about the clear lag like my self but in reality without clear lag the server would be super laggy. I agree with Podigyinfinity adding more seconds would be much better.
It's not more seconds I meant like 3,2,1 I mean when you log on it says something like; clear lag will occur in 16 seconds. Or something like that
it says that already clear lag will be in 20 seconds but im not saying to add time im saying that ir would be nice to see the 3,2,1 count down
In the chat, clearlag says: Warning Ground items will be removed in 20 seconds. For me, that is a pretty easy thing to notice considering it is red. But what do you mean when you just log on? You aren't gonna drop everything the second you get on are you? And adding in "Warning Ground Items will be removed in 3 2 1 It'll only spam the chat much more, and we don't need more spam then we already have. I mean sure, it's a great idea. But you have a 60 and 20 second warning for Clearlag. You should be able to see the message, it's quite noticeable. Also if you are selling someone something or buying something from a player, wait till clearlag drops by and cleans up it's messes BEFORE you throw the items to the person.
did u ever noticed that after it says clear lag in 20 secs there is a advertisment and u cant even see the clear lag announcement?
The server would have to install a whole new clear lag plug-in to support your ideas, at least, i think so. I do understand what you are saying, but it would just require a lot of extra work.
