I've been on AEM for almost four years, and I have supported the server on my YouTube channel trying to get people to join the server as I didn't want to see it go downhill as I enjoyed playing on it. I also had no control over the glitch, whenever I logged back onto the server my inventory was flooded with voting rewards if I had 5 or more free slots in my inventory. I also have ranks on Skygrid and Survival. Also if you do find it too terrible to unban me for, I understand, but please consider allowing me onto the other servers as I did nothing wrong on them.
Hello there @Neremik , you might not be aware of this but getting banned on one server will result in a global ban, it's a new system we have changed to so getting banned on one specific server is no longer available. You were banned for "Abusing exploits" by zSwayz, I understand that it isn't your fault for the glitch but there could've been better ways to handle the situation, I'm sure you were caught abusing it somewhat, would you like to explain what happened when you figured out the glitch? Did you decide to relog over and over and see what you could get from it?
I'll gladly explain. First of all when I found the glitch my family was streaming movies I kept being disconnected, and as I was working on homework over Skype at the time I kept continually getting kicked for lag. Now as before mentioned whenever I had enough slots in my inventory I would get the rewards. After realising it wasn't an event giving me keys for donating or something I got a few of my friends from AEM together to help me try and find an Admin after I said in the factions chat what was happening. Someone by the name of tanksdead went to skygrid and got Jerekul which gave me a breeze of relief, before he said I was getting banned. After about 3 times of disconnecting I did begin to relog about 5-7 times to see if it was a bug or just un-registered votes or something along those lines. Also I was throwing some of the items away to player, I'll admit I was in the wrong there but it was only things like excess TNT, though I did try and make an effort to dispose of it without anyone collecting the items way too many people were showing up and followed me to wherever I dumped the items.
I never spoke to you or even knew you were exploiting until after you were banned. Tanksdead found me and told me you were experiencing the glitch. I told Sway you had the glitch so he could remove you from the queue. At that time, he went and found what you did and banned you for exploiting. It's not really your fault the glitch happened to you, but what you chose to do with it is what you are punished for and you don't seem to feel like you really did anything wrong. You have to understand that things like this cause issues with the economy and such, and by exploiting glitches and giving away free items, you're only making the problem worse. If you can understand what you did was wrong and actually apologize, then perhaps we can consider unbanning you.
Ok, sorry. I do understand how it could of effected the economy and I know that I was in the wrong when I gave the items away for free. I really see how much of an idiot I was that day, I should of just logged off and stayed off until I got news that the issue had been fixed, or at the very least filled up my inventory so the voting rewards didn't appear in my inventory everytime I came back onto Factions. I'm sorry that I was acting like it wasn't my fault, I was scared of staying banned on a server I've been with for close to 4 years, and to be honest I still am. But still, to the people of AEM, Sorry.
