A lot of players agree that vote crates give out too much enchanted diamond gear to the point where it's become worthless and spams your inventory with gear. I just used 20 vote keys and 17 of those keys yielded enchanted gear with basic enchantments. My proposal is to change the chance of getting diamond loot from 15% to 2.5%, and make the enchants somewhat better, like Protection II or III on the armor. Also, along with decreasing the chance of getting diamond gear, perhaps add something we'd use more, like a stack or a half stack of steak or some ender pearls. The chance of getting these consumables could be 12.5% to account for the lowered chance in getting diamond gear. I realize some users benefit from this diamond gear and that it doesn't seem very beneficial because I'm well off on this server, but it's gotten to the point where several users throw away the gear they get from the vote chest. Thanks for your consideration EDIT: A lot of times I find myself needing dirt. I would definitely like to see dirt added. So this is my official request: Change the loot from: Enchanted diamond gear - 15% Change the loot to: (Better) enchanted diamond gear - 2.5% (Half) stack of consumables; ender pearls, steak - 5% Half stack of dirt - 7.5%
To my knowledge the chests will be reworked! Don't quote me on that ^^ On survival its worse I throw out everything exept 4 items...
I do agree that Prot 1 diamond gear is very useless in the long term. It is useful to start with , but once you get an enchant table or elite+ it does become extremely pointless. If you have a high salvage level you can get some diamonds out of it I guess?
