how do i make alot of money

You can sell items to other players or to the shop. There isn't really a different way to make money than those two

Besided selling on the server itself you could also try to cross server trade vote keys or items for money on survival.

 

Vote for $400
Sell your vote keys for $100 each in /ah for $100 more per key.
Total so far $800
Cross trade on skyblock, +$400 and another 4 keys if you trade money and keys with the player
Total so far $1600
Cross trade on factions, same as before
$2400
Cross trade on skygrid, a bit harder
$3200
3.2k if you spend about 5-10 minutes voting and cross server trading.
If you go mining gold and obsidian sell quite well, other than that gathering materials and selling them can make a lot , people like me are lazy and will buy anything and everything if we need it.

I pay like 500$ for like 10 blocks of glowstone cause i'm too lazy to go get it.

 

Pretty much every time I take your stuff is for a town or shared build lol
