I'm just curious on why we are forced to buy certain items in the shop rather than being able to build them. It just strikes me as odd as it was never this way in the past. Certain items that are only for sale in the shop make it hard to set up different things.
- Greeting's Procrastinator48, Same, it's also really annoying and you spend 100k on a stack of hoppers which you could build for free. I do see why they have this ,since even though it's op skyblock it can't be so easy that it's not fun. With the op theme it's so easy to get ores that people would have tons of hoppers and etc.. You make like 100k a day on farms and etc that the price isn't that much, but is overwhelming. It would be nice if the price lowered due to the price of the materials needed to build it. I'm not a frequent skyblock player but from what I've heard, hoppers have to be bought as they build up a lot of lag on the server and this way, players only buy them when they are needed, not just to destroy the server. I don't know of any other items that have to be bought but it's most likely for a good reason.
I just like the old skyblock yea they sold everything but you could also make everything the old skyblock was better yea there may be lag with making mob grinders but the old skyblock was more challenging and actually fun to play and the nether was open and it was just more enjoyable
@Procrastinator48 i think they made this so that you can't get so many hoppers and be to op, this makes it so you have to work for them. The same thing for beacons, if you could craft them, you could have a million beacons and get skyblock island points.
