Many people on AEM Skyblock don't know how to get started on an island, so instead they go asking "can i join an island?" And most of the time that dosen't work out for them to well. But with this thread, you can learn how to create your own island and not have to go asking that anymore! Just follow these few simple steps to learn how to create your own massive island! The first thing you will want to do is create a cobblestone generator. Check your chest, there should be a lava bucket and 2 blocks of ice. I am not going to take all the time to teach you how to make a cobblestone generator, i'm sure you can find a video if you don't know how. After making the cobblestone generator you should mine there for a while and get maybe 3 stacks of cobblestone and then start expanding your island! Now its time for step 2, making utilities on your island. The best and easiest source of food is definitely a farm, so set one of those up to get u some food. Then you will want to make a mob grinder, if you are reading this it probably means you are new to AEM or at least AEM Skyblock so that means you wont have enough money for a spawner, but the original form of mob grinder isn't disabled so it will work to. Once again i am not going to go into a detailed step by step process of making a mob grinder so Youtube is your friend on that one. but after the mob grinder and farm, your island is set for now. Once you have all of these things i'm guessing you have a decent sized island already, if you want to you can look up a better cobblestone generator model, and that will start producing you a lot of cobblestone. But after you do that you should start expanding your island some more to get island levels. (more valuable blocks will give you more island levels) Now you will want to add some decoration (optional) if you are going to set up a warp. You can create a house and a chest room and invite some friends to your island too! but now its time for one of the hardest things so far, making money. A lot of players on Skyblock struggle to make money because they don't have any good methods. Personally i think the best way to make money is Mycelium Farming. Mycelium farming is something unique to the server and is probably worth garbage on any other server. Mycelium sells for 125$ each in the shop (you can access this by doing /shop) So what you can do is place a bunch of dirt and place just a couple of blocks of Mycelium in there so it will spread to the rest. Then, using a silk touch shovel you harvest the Mycelium and sell it all for stupendous amounts of money! I think that about raps it up for this time everyone! Great guide!! Maybe add a few links for videos on youtube of simple cobble gens or mob grinders, but other than that great job!
