there should be an option to where you can set it so that people cant pick stuff up on your island and yes i know that you can just /is lock but what if you have a shop and your mining something and some little troll comes along and just takes it, and yes i know you can just tell staff but what if a staff memeber isnt online then your waiting days just to get an item back.
i think there is a way of implementing it so that only players added to the island or coop'd to the island are able to pick items up but i have no idea how it works xD
You can make your mining place in a room with door or something? Visitors can't open doors unless you have pressure plate that set for visitor to open it.
@CaptainStarkie i was placing glowstone on my island and SwagOneFTW was helping me place it...after we were done he still had 32 glowstone left...( i know cos of /invsee). Wugbug then tpa'd to SwagOneFTW and he accepted...(which i dont have a problem with as i have a warp on my island anyway)...so when SwagOneFTW dropped the 32 glowstone, Wugbug then ran past and picked it up, i asked him to give it to me, he just kept running, i said that's my glowstone and he replied saying i know, he then jumped down to my cactus farm, i followed him down there, he then went to the edge of the cactus farm, starred at me and dropped the glowstone into the void....i understand that the glowstone was only $3200 from the shop which wasnt much...and SwagOneFTW (Who is apparently their friend hence the tpa) paid me the $3200 back whilst i was typing this...but i still think the fact that this happened proves that we need some way of stopping random people picking stuff up on our islands......
46 people online and only one staff memeber which is rogue and they arent staff on every server. im only saying this because i care about this server and want it to stay as the place you go to after a rough day at school or a busy day at work, to just chill out and have a good time and to not have to deal with immature people out there.
Hmm, your island is your responsibility. If the player you cooped accept a tp from someone else is part of your responsibility. Once you coop someone means you trust them with every moves they do on your island. The suggestion is okay tho. Not sure if it's possible to be added.
@CaptainStarkie i shouldn't be responsible for him accepting a tpa from someone.....it should also be an option to not let people tpahere from other peoples islands or tpa to people on other islands....
This is entirely possible and very easy for us to do. We will discuss enabling dropped item/block protection and get back to you folks A.S.A.P.
Item dropping and pickup for players who are visiting an island is now disabled on a trial basis. If all goes well, it may become permanent. Keep the feedback coming, as it really does help. Enjoy!
i wanted to go to a public blaze farm and then @Snoweh_ said cant pick up in chat and it dawned on us that you can now not have public grinders on your island...i think you can still pick up xp orbs (only tested on xp bottle ones) so this is one flaw
One workaround for now is to have a hopper feed into a publicly accessible chest. Still looking into all the options and monitoring the situation, so thank you for the continued feedback!
noticed something else it does....this is a cool thing btw...if your in a pv and press q it puts the item into ur inv as u cant drop also works for ctrl and q so this is easier than doing shift and click for all or putting 1 item in....
