WELCOME
Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the ninth edition of the ECC blog! *Bows to applause* Well, I think it's time that I really and truly commit to a solid schedule to write off of. I know in the past I did make a schedule but I really only followed it for one to two editions. Now I am officially announcing that there will be two editions of the ECC every week (like always), they will follow the new format the I've implemented, and they will come out on Friday and Monday of every week. This way it seems to me that readers the. Have an edition to read to start off the weekend and then another to help lessen the pain of Monday (or add to it if you happen to dislike the blog ). Now without further ado, I give you all the ninth edition of the ECC blog! *NOTE* There is no build feature for this edition because I will be posting a bunch of features for the builds for the spooky build contest.

MINECRAFT 1.6.4
Yes, recently mojang released a new update for minecraft. To be honest, I don't really know what the update actually did, but I do know it really screwed stuff up. I now have to play with no mods (I'm a macro and optifine addict)!! But now that all the issues have seemed to calm down I'm just waiting for when 1.7 come out and it throws everything out of proportion again. Don't get me wrong, I'm really looking forward to the new additions with the next update, but I do fear that it will end up a lot like the 1.6 update (don't get me started).

FAREWELL TO A GREAT MOD

As you all may or may not know, a longtime staff member and supermoderator 3point14mp has resigned from the ECC staff. We are all sad to see you go but thankful for everything you've done for us and the server.

FRIENDLY REMINDER TO PEOPLE SUBMITTING TOWNS/BUILDS

Lately I have been getting quite few pm's ingame in relation to getting builds/towns featured in the blog. I really appreciate you guys and gals letting me preview the submission but I would like to urge you all to remember to still make a submission of the forums. The main reason for this is because when people pm me ingame I do not keep track of what is told to me. I listen to what you have to say but for me to remember it I really need the help the forum submissions offers. I probably should start writing down who pm's me and why but I will probably still forget, so PLEASE remember to post on a blog edition with your build.

I will be trying to get back into the routine of things (in relation to consistent posting of new editions) and if any of you notice that I'm starting to fall behind in edition please by all means tell me. Having people yell at me to do stuff tends to be a fairly adequate form of motivation.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK
If you could change the price of any item on ECC (besides farming related stuff) what would you change? (thanks to Jason1964 for the question of the week)
