Notch has revealed that, after the Adventure Update, players will be able to run different game modes, including Creative - which will include, among other things, limited flight capabilities. In addition, players will be able to create mods to enter Creative mode on SMP servers running in a different mode. just been snooping around the forums
I've heard nothing official about Creative mode from Notch. Only thing official is the Adventure mode for 1.8, which is a ways away.. And it is no surprise about mods and stuff for SMP and other modes. Everything will be so confusing and difficult once even Adventure comes out. :l
Ja. And his blog said nothing about Creative mode.. Unless he edited RIGHT AFTER I read it. :| I read it no longer than two hours ago. Haven't seen his twitter, but Creative mode would be important enough to put on the blog. o.o I don't think he is active on the forum, either.. o.o
