I will definitely be doing that @AdmiralD Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Sounds like I will have some renovating to do.
All credit where credit is due, though. While I own most of the Lancaster towns, the rail system (which is great, you're right) is entirely the work of @GStoner3.
Awesometopia new Premier Skyscraper has just been completed. It is located directly beside the warp. Suites are now on sale. Floors 1 - 13 cost $6000 each Floors 14 - 20 cost $4200 each Floors 21 - 23 cost $3000 each Also, many other buildings are available in town starting as low as $400 an apartment. You may use an attached observation deck as a balcony if you have own one of those suites. However, the observation decks public sign must remain and be available to any players. Now to fix up the subway system
I fancied building a large tower and Awesometopia seemed like a great place to do it! I bought three plots near the farm - two were next to each other and one the other side of the road. Crezarius said I could build across the road as long as it was above a certain height and I was allowed to connect to the subway which ran underneath. Cool! I try and build inspired by real life buildings. When thinking about skyscrapers that cross roads I thought of Terry Farrell's Alban Gate in London which crosses London Wall. I keep being told that postmodernism is the new brutalism and needs protecting, but tbh Alban Gate just does nothing for me. I fancied building something by Richard Seifert but I couldn't see how I could pull off something like Centrepoint and omg the quartz needed! So.. Alban Gate replaced one of 6 towers on London Wall. These were built between 1956 and 1976 in the 'international style' and looked like this. They were controversial, Herbert Wright writes: It's obvious I needed to try and build one of these! It needed to be box like, repetitive and numbing! It's not quite finished yet but if you're looking for 1950s office space do let me know!
There is currently only one plot in town at the moment available for purchase. Its located under 75 blocks from the warp and is on the edge of town. It's a 15x15 for $4 000 Spoiler: Picture of plot from the air New plots are available in the Underground in Awesometopia. You can build up to Y=39 and the "ground level" is Y=13. If your interested in a plot let me know. If you also want a larger one then what is setup and dont mind mining we can work you out a great deal lol. There would be a lot of spots along the main road then or if your daring you can buy a plot in a PvP zone 10x10s start at only $750. Updated town inactivity rules to include Apartments are almost a lifetime thing. Updated the town gallary Spoiler: Underground Awesometopia Spoiler: Underground Awesometopia 2
