[Complaint] Swiggle

Guys, please only post here if you have evidence that is needed to be posted.

 

Alright so Revan was nice enough to ask me come and logblock the area to see if I could figure out what happened. Here's what I've come up with.

In terms of a falling death, the area is at y10. Unless you were somehow higher up than the coords she brought me to to look at the area, even if there was a hole to bedrock there would've been a very small chance of you dying from fall damage (or even taking fall damage). I dug down in the spot you supposedly would've logged into to find that Swiggle only shows up on logs 3 blocks down; not even to bedrock, and 3 blocks isn't really enough to take any fall damage unless you physically jumped into the hole/area yourself. So I pretty well ruled out this as a possible cause of death.

In terms of a lava death, there is lava flowing downward in the corner of the room, blocked off with a fence. As far as I can tell from logs and my knowledge of lava physics, I'm fairly certain there is no way that the lava flowed into the room at any point today, and if it did it wouldn't have been long enough to flow out and kill someone, as far as I can tell.

In conclusion, in my investigation I could not prove that the area I was shown to investigate was used in any way to cause someone death. I cannot take action on this complaint personally with the evidence given here and my own investigation of the matter, but as Revan is dealing with the case and I was simply called in to give a second opinion, I will allow her the decision on whether or not she would like to lock the complaint on lack of evidence and proof, or if she would like to allow more time for parties to present evidence that death occurred. I will continue to be available to provide further assistance with investigation if new information is brought forward.

Further responses to this thread should either be done by revanrose6 or by any party who is bringing screenshot evidence/exact coordinates of possible further investigation to the table. Any other comments should be left out.

As Skylexia has stated, neither of us were able to locate any cause of death. After seeing that most posts on here have not been following the rules outlined by AndrewKM, and the fact there appears to be no case or evidence for murder here, I will be locking this. In the event you locate new evidence, please feel free to post a complaint and link this complaint in it.

I am very sorry this has occurred and I hope the rest of your time on ECC will go over well.
