So I thought long and hard today about those people who would lose their wonderful and creative towns and I managed to come up with some sort of idea. Schematica... This is a mod that is used to copy and paste blueprints of minecraft creations of all types. How does it work? I select and area I want to copy and once I have done this I save it to my schematics file. I then hop into the world I want to copy it and find the area that is most suitable for it. Then I simply load the blueprint to the world, place it correctly and get building. I thought some people may want to take advantage of this and use it to recreate their towns made in the last 7 years of playing main server so heres how it will go: Requirements: The town needs to have an active owner. Payment will be made for each 100x100 area of land (See below for details) The town owner must NOT be currently banned. I will require the coordinates of the town or a link to the town application. Prices: The price for each 100x100 area of land copied will stand at $10000 in-game. (This is to pay for the teams help and to pay for the time and effort required. (This will be updated judging by the poll attached to this thread!) I may look to hire people to help me with this and possibly start a building team to help build the towns back up which I will decide prices depending on how big and how many things need to be recreated and how complex they are. (This can be sorted out via forum pm) Additional Info: This is really easy to do yourself which is why the cost is only at $5000 unless people think the price should be lower/higher which you will be able to vote for using the Poll Question attached to this thread. I am interested in copying /warp Allemange over. It is an island, so the ocean floor would need to be done to a tee.
Not too familiar with Schematia, but will signs still have their exact wording or chests still have their items in it?
I can confirm that chests will not have their items in them and I'm pretty sure signs will not have the exact wording.
The person building would place the sign and manually type in the wording. Schematic or not what he’s offering is a crap ton of work because the printer function is not allowed on ecc. Good luck with ur business. Although since new server not created, nor are the new rules in place regarding towns/ownership so... I will wait to use your service.
Thank you all for the fast replies, I will check a few things out first and materialswill need to be supplied/paid for by the town owner/members @Drewbo_ and no @Jdawger signs and chests will be wiped of their information which is probably a good thing as bugs/duplication glitches will not be primed.
Also can I ask anyone who is interested in helping me with either the schematics side or building side of this project to forum pm me, obviously schematic will need to be available to you so I can somehow upload/forward the towns blueprints to you. If you would like a blueprint of your town created don't hesitate to pm me on forums and payment can be made when the town is completed, until then the copy will be saved into my files and will NOT be used for anything else but the recreation of your town when the time comes! Ok so... just FYI... nothing is getting wiped. Towns are secure. And schematica will not cause any dupes or bugs. With that being said you can schematica copy any town or build on ecocity without fear. I’ve done it before with the sweet angel of death statue in overwatch (I think that was the town). The only rule with schematica is you can not use it to auto build for you.
Already had this in mind and yes that is something I missed, the current main server is NOT being wiped, it is being archived which means you can still visit your towns and creations and still work on them, however the main things like trade signs will be nerfed so you can only sell to other players via your trade signs but you won't be able to sell to others trade signs if that makes sense and if I am correct. Also everyone will have /fly /feed etc in the archive server, its a bit like creative mode except you need to gather materials somehow. But yes your builds will still be accessible and modifiable (and yes, 'modifiable' is an existing word lmao)
