Dear fellow Ecocitycraft users, I come to you today to bring a new idea to the server. I am trying to get a star tool for most Ecocitycraft users to use to some extent. My thoughts were to get a Melon sword which is 1800 Nether stars. The reason for this is because the chance of dying in lava/fall damage is very low and it is cheaper by 200 nether stars than the preferred (EFF 7) Now many of you may say this is a communal star tool so it must be used by everyone how would this work? That is not the case unfortunately as I want to make sure that the people using the tool if broken would pay it back. So here are the requirements to be able to use the communal star tool. *Must have 150 dollars donated in features* *Must be either president+ or been a member for 6 months* *Must sign a contract stating that you will pay the star tool back if you break it* *Cannot have a ban for hacking in the last 1 year and must have not been banned for scamming in the past 2 years* Those 4 rules may seem unfair but i believe it is the best way to ensure that this star tool is not broken/scammed intentionally. Another question many users will have: Can i just take the star tool for hours and hours at a time? The answer to that is NO! This is a communal star tool remember to share it No one will be allowed to have the star tool out of the chest for longer than 2 hours at a time per 2 days. This will ensure that everyone will get their fair chance at the tool (or hopefully) These rules are pretty set although may change as time goes on. Now what I am asking for you today are donations to this communal star tool. (It is for the community right?) Currently we have 1800/1800 nether stars. And unfortunetly i do not have a /warp anywhere for people to donate. If someone would be willing to lend me a /warp that would be highly appreciated Currently i have a sign at economicville in Rising buying the nether stars for one penny. Out of curiosity, I was banned for scamming 4 years ago as a builder when I didn't know it was against the rules, would I still not be allowed to use these tools?
Maybe it will break. But the point is up until the point of breaking it would have helped many people. And whoever breaks it would have to repay it.
Seeing as they would most likely be using this as they can't afford their own, they will probably be banned. If you don't push for a ban, good luck getting the money back in a timely fashion.
Be a little optimistic man, @EconomicPlunder is trying to do a good thing. If we assume the worst in everything, They isnt any point in living cause we wouldnt do nothing, eat anything as we would be terrified of what might happen. Good luck with your project. I agree with Mission that this is a good thing EP is trying to establish and I hope the players that get involved truly try to use this as a method to success. Although I was not called out, I will not let anybody down and also offer to do free e-repairs for anyone using the tool. I should say here I only do ereps thru a chest, DO NOT ever throw it on the ground to me please. Like JMichael, I am hard to get a hold of in game at times - best way is an in game mail so that when I move around it lets me know.
