Its hard to communicate on vent without a mic.

 

I have turtle beaches for Xbox, would those work?

 

Depends on which set they are. I bought Turtle Beaches made for Xbox which were also compatible with PC and mostly use them on PC. If the set has a USB connection and audio input/output cables, or the box says it is compatible with PC, they should work.
