@Itz_TheBlackCat @Blizzard_04 @Hackney_Builder I'll be able to add your scores tomorrow once I get home from my trip.
I'll take my score, I think i slide into the Good category xD --- Even if you have been on ECC from the start and have full donation features and are EcoLegend. You'd still only end up with a score of roughly 690. And if you earn the max repayment points, you end up with 735. So no one can get excellent credit? xD
That would be max repayment points for each individual loan, so there's an infinite amount of points available. You can get 45 points max from a single loan, but that doesn't stop you from earning more by taking out another in the future. It would probably take you 2 decent loans to achieve an excellent score given your current situation.
oh i see. Thanks for clearing that up. Though i would need 4 loans and repay them all 7 days early each time
Do I understand correctly that I get paid just for asking my score - not that I have to pay for that? In both cases, I want my score please
Currently it's only this service, but I may try and expand to other banks in the future. The main reason for this is to prevent boosting and to make sure all scores are fair as possible. Also it's something the loaner would have to agree to as they'd have to constantly PM me whenever they loan out, along with some key details, in order for me to actually modify their scores fairly.
I have lowered the reward for requesting scores down to $250. This will most likely drop to 0 within the next few weeks. $26,000 ECD has already been paid out to users who have requested their scores early on.
I have never been fond of loans and believe that it is still best to earn your way and to learn patience. That said, this is one of the best thought out systems I have seen. In regards to the scores, I have my concerns that only the positive of the past seems to be considered in the score and none of the past scams (especially loans) and bans are even considered. This presents an issue of trust in the system if the "troll" factor is not even considered. Wishing you the best of success!
Thanks for your input! I see where you're coming from. Although it would take way longer to check every player's history before giving them their score, I definitely agree it's a key element in finding where a player stands. That being said, I'll be putting a few hours of work into the system tomorrow to implement these changes. This includes a complete remodel of the algorithm to make sure everything still balances out. I'll also be deducting points from existing players on the list if they are affected by this.
When I was in the loan business, I used a (private) spreadsheet to automatically calculate a score. It took into consideration many factors and the different coefficients could be tweaked in order to better balance the different aspects. There were both positive and negative factors. I had to manually search through history and input all info such as time they joined and shit, but the fact that the number was computed automatically made it less prone to mistakes. Plus, it was very easy to update someone's score. Now that @luccowarleo is back I'm not giving loans by myself anymore, I'm just an investor in Bank of Babylon as he's much better than me in judging (some dose of human judgment is still necessary); but I think that a common, public score algorithm agreed among the biggest actors in the loan business would be awesome. I'm willing to share my old algorithm, if you're interest and want to take inspiration
