    I feel like a jerk now for doubting captainwow12.

    He showed me Spot, and the horse is everything he described. fast and can jump 5 blocks high. wow.

    It's too bad we can't pay Netherstars to upgrade our horses. I guarantee you I'd spend all my Netherstars if it would let me juice up my horse. :cool:

    (edit: I doubt I will bother making that an official suggestion though, since you'd likely have to create an item that would be right-clicked onto a horse to "upgrade" its stats a bit. From a technical standpoint, I don't see how that would be done).

    from what i've read, breeding tends to create horses with average stats. spawn eggs can hit the extremes more. i don't know if it is true though.

    it would have been better design to have the eggs create average horses, and breeding brings out the extreme horses.

    Yes, since that is how it works in real life, pretty much. (stud farms, etc)
