I think I might've found a fix to your errors. Try removing the macromod file and download another one from here: http://eq2.co.uk/minecraft/mods/prerelease/mod_macros_0.11.1_beta2_mc1.8.litemod Let me know if it works
I followed this guide and everything worked perfectly. Thank you! I do, however, have a problem of my own making. I was playing around with macro mod, creating a label that tells you what world you're in (following this: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/macro-mod-world-display.91250/). It uses the OnChat event to display the label. As soon as I saved it, exited macro mod, then activated chat, I was kicked for chat spam. Eventually I resorted to removing the macro mod and then I was able to connect. Do you know of a way I can reset macro mod so I can start using it again? Or edit it outside of Minecraft? I checked the mod folder hoping to find a config for it that stored my macros, but no luck.
@dhartshorn go to single player and edit the macro as you can't be kicked for spam in single player and macros are carried over through worlds/servers
