Are you looking to make your own custom signature for the forums? Do you want something special, and never done? But do you feel you have no clue what to do? Here's a tutorial to help you, since I found out how to make custom signatures (and have been making them ever since) Note: This is a tutorial for making a signature on your phone, tablet, ect. I find it easier to use and make on my phone than doing it on a computer. It is because photoshop is free on the app store/play store, which means you dont have to pay and you can get a really good photoshop app. For a photo tutorial, go to this link: https://ibb.co/album/nE7tdv Start from the bottom! 1. Go to Novaskin Minecraft Wallpaper. Find a wallpaper with a character in it that you think will be a good position for a signature. If you want a signature with your character fighting a creeper, then find a wallpaper that has a character fighting a creeper. There is probably one for everything. Then, add your skin and download the wallpaper. 2. Open Adope Photoshop Mix You can get it free on the app store/google play store. At least in the USA, but I'm pretty sure it would be free universally. 3. Go to new project, and open the novaskin minecraft wallpaper. 4. Start to cut out your character, and other objects you may want. I like to use smart cut, then go and fix up the mistakes the app may have made. Its easy to use, and soon you will have a transparent background with only your player in the picture, and/or other things you wanted in the photo. 4.5 OPTIONAL Add color Remember, if you add color, you need to make sure that your player is brought forward. That means that your player will be in front of the colored background. Or else it will just be one color, minus the player. 5. Add your text This is pretty easy. Just add text, and edit the size, font, shape, color, ect. until you get something you like. 5.5 OPTIONAL If you want to do what I did, and add a transparent pattern background, there are some cool and easy ways you can do that. a. Use a different font, and make the letters either huge or small. Then bring the font to the background (but in front of the colored background if there is one) Make it semi-transparent and your done. b. Use a photo of a design. Make sure it semi transparent already, then bring it to the back or in front of the colored background. 6. Download the photo to your camera roll Your going to need to upload it, right? 7. Upload the image to a website like imgur, or a website that can convert photos to direct links. This is so the photo can be used as your signature in forum. 8. Go into the setting in ECC Forums called 'Signature' Add your photo there by putting a direct link in the photo option 9. Test it out! Post a positive comment on someones thread. 10. And you're done!!!! If you need any help, just comment on this thread. I hope this can help the ECC community really let the artist inside thrive!!!
It’s good. Just too lazy to download Adobe Edit: Well I have Adobe Mix now. How do I make myself brought forward so the Color background is at the back?
Ok, so there is a thing called layers. Lets say you have your player then decide to add a color background. But the color is overlapping the player, correct? Well what you do is this: There is a "drop down" menu of which you can either add or delete layers. So you want to make sure that your color is at the bottom of the selection. Or you can go into edit photo and bring your player forward. DO you want me to post pictures explaining what you need to do?
I'd like to add that GIMP and Paint.net are also very good free applications that can be used similarly to make you're forum signature EDIT: Realised that these apps were for the computer, however you can do the exact same things with the applications in a similar way to this tutorial. Same applies with novaskin.
