Make sure you vote everyday, easy 3k. Money takes time, be patient. You could look for a job, like placing blocks, clearing land, etc. Or try to rent a star tool, like an eff7 or a melon sword. Also don't spend anymore money then you have to. Don't buy something unless you absolutely need it. Don't lotto or gamble it away at a casino. If you're to bet on sportsbook, make sure you know a lot about the event you are betting on. Mix up the ways you make money so you don't get bored.

Be sure to repair it before it's even close to breaking. Also use a chest to transfer it to the person repairing so it doesn't get butchered

    I recommend the following methods:

-Buy end access and farm there, if you know what you're doing, you can make an easy 100k/day.

-Rent out star tools from other players. As long as you don't break them, you'll be making quite a lot of money. I would let you rent them from me for 5k/hour.

    -Vote every day, easy money.

Personally if you dont like the community, itll be hard to play here even if you like the economy side of things.

    Get into chat, get interacting.
Then from there youll enjoy the game more, whatever money making you do :p

I personally float from different things.

The bulk of my time is currently mining out a town to bedrock.
But ive found obsidian sells very well, yes its a pin to mine but could be worthwhile if you have the correct features.
Dirt sells very well, easy to get, And the more you do it, the better drops youll get from Excavation. 4 Stacks of Glowstone Dust (which is a pretty common drop) will net you $200 at least selling to the market.

Also, with you looking at chat and interacting, youll find that you sell people buying stuff, and you can farm that stuff. I have had this happen on multiple occasions. Gunpowder was one (Which is a Nether drop on Soul Sand) And the other currently is NetherBrick. I sell Nether Brick currently for $30 a stack, may not sound much, but its again pretty obtainable, either by mining the Brick in the Nether, or you could just mine out netherrack and get it smelted and condensed to make nbrick.

Thats what i usually do, i dont tend to really grind out money, I tend to supply and demand kinda thing, keeps me busy, always different and you know you are helping people while making a decent margin :p What more could you want!

Good luck trying to find your own method. :)

Is the issue that you are physically unable to sell items due to technical issues or that you just don't want to put in work? If it's the latter then sucks to suck mate, start looking for another server. ECC has a butt ton of fun and creative ways to make money, all you have to do is just take ten minutes out of your day to do it

Just wanted to add to this great point. In real life, if you ask any entrepreneur what one of their greatest assets are, they will all answer with "connections". Knowing people and maintaining good relationships is extremely important when trying to expand (at least in my opinion). Thats why there are all sorts of networking events where all you do is literally just talk and get to meet other people. People are your greatest resources as everyone possess' their own knowledge that you may not know of. A quick ingame example is that I was opening a rather large town but I needed a comayor. Through my connections and by simply knowing people, I was able to find the perfect candidates for the job and they ended up excelling in it. Another in-game example was when I was able to find out through my close connections that their was going to be a sudden spike in nstar prices. This allowed me to prepare for it and I ended up making a ton of money while others lost, simply because of one of my close connections.

    TL;DR
If you eant to be successful economically or monetarilly wise, being close and active within the community is an essential even if you dont like it.

You could try the stock market. Learn about it and maybe practice here to use it IRL in the future *Stock market is a bit different due to how it grabs values so difference between irl and here is A. Limit to USA stocks, B. 3 day wait C. A delay in stock price accuracy. Fishing and excavation (well soul sand is most profitable at high levels). Perhaps run a shop or be the first barterer (IE X item for y ammount of Z item) (Please note this has not been proven here or tested). Perhaps sharpen your pvp skills and hunt end people cus why not. In the end this is a game on a server, the server has the motivation to keep people around with a grind aspect and a community that value the aspect/working on overcoming it. If you do not have fun then do not force yourself, take a break for like 3 days to a week (noted that you do not owe people anything, pay off debts and notify people that need it before you do).

P.S. I forgot to mention buildings, try your hand and perhaps build a exquisite town and sell it for massive gains.
