This summer when it is my birthday and I get a new job I was planning on getting a new computer in about the $750 range. How good are other games with the computer? And what graphics do you use (low,high,etc.)? Thanks!

 

Well, haven't played much yet, but Euro Truck Simulator 2 is fantastic on it. I use all ultra graphics, not a hint of lag. When you use lights/blinkers, it lowers your fps, but on here, I can't tell the difference.

FPS at peaktime at spawn: 100+ on max settings with 32x texture pack, 150-200fps on low settings with 16x texture pack. You can easily get 700+ on the server in towns, sg, or pvp.

Comments?: 2 USB 3.0 ports with 1 USB 2.0 port, include ultrabay so you can put in a second graphics card, blueray, or another hard drive. Lenovo does not sell them anymore for some reason but I found one from Amazon for $1,499. You can get the Ideapad y510 or y410 from Lenovo for a few hundred dollars cheaper. Comes with Windows 8, 3 hours of battery life (Who cares about battery life), and 15.6' 1080p screen.

Comments?: Normally I lock my frames to 20 just to minimize strain in other applications because I often run other games such as WOW or League while idle in ECC. Also, it's not super measurable but readyboost on my 30GB flash drive seems to help so I tend to leave it there.

You should list GPU's as well, as minecraft does almost nothing to the CPU.
