    Just a quick question, why are they being removed?


    Was it a problem with the lag issues, or was it because of the massive amount of money they were creating?

    Well, I assume the following:

    Ecocitycraft should be a server where people make money through hard work and effort, not standing in a spot afk doing nothing. Its unfair to new users and causes lag (Well, because of our beast server it might not :b) So thats why I think they are banned.

    Money is made through hard work. Lazyness gets you no where.

    So, to fix this, nerf the price? some mob traps dont involve afking in one spot.

    Yeah... And setting up mob traps takes forever, lol. You need to do it right. I've seen people spend a day making them, then do tweaks for a couple or few hours to get them right. -shrugs-

    I never used mob traps though~

    yea exactly, with hardwork creating them comes the pay. IMO, they shouldnt just dissapear off the face of the earth and should instead just be nerfed. Even if it is a 25% decrease or something.



    Like moo said, they are rare and hard to create, and most of them are ineffeceint

    andrew wants this server to be a server where you actively mine and farm to make money
    and not a server where you just stand still at a mob trap
    you might have put a lot of work in your trap but you can make up for that when you afk at the collection point.

    Honestly, I think the server should lean towards ingenuity, the better and more effective things you build, the more reward. Nothing is more boring than walking in a straight line and holding the click button. I'd radther see people build colossal mobtraps, mushroom farms and wheat farms, but most of the chances we get are taken away.

    there is absolutely no ingenuity involved in building these things because almost every farm or mobtrap has already been done and has blueprints or videos on the internet all you have to do is either apply some of these techniques on the internet and spend time on it and you will have something that you have to do absolutely nothing anymore and the money comes rolling in and that in turn screws up a part of the economy (the mob drop part)

    Not all of us have the same traps, and some people actually create their own. Plus, if you follow a tutuorial on how to build one, you still have to problem solve.

    people who do monster hunt for mob drops cant sell their mob drops to other people anymore

    You dont have to participate in the mob hunt to get mob drops. You can always create just a dark room..

    that was not the point the point was that people can't sell mob drops to other people anymore.

    Arrows are sold in stores anways, feathers are usless and bows are sold in stores. Only useful thing is bones.

    But when they are, you can buy in bulk... Could buy thousands of something, so it wouldn't matter. :/
