That reminds me of something that happened when I was in Australia. So here's a story for you. Last month my family and I visited Australia. One day, we decided to take a tour to a remote spot at a high elevation for some sightseeing. Australian food is expensive and my parents like to save money and time, so they bought lunch for the tour the night before. We went to McDonald's and each ordered something from the $1 Value Meal. I ordered 10 Chicken McBites. But when we got back to the hotel, we realized that we did not have a refrigerator, so my parents just put our lunch in the closet and went to sleep... The next day, we took our lunch and hopped on the tour bus really early in the morning. We went to a mountain for some sightseeing and stopped at a nearby Chinese restaurant for lunch. It was in the middle of nowhere with freezing temperatures (It's winter in Australia when it's summer here). Everyone on the bus ate there except us, so they left our family outside the Chinese restaurant and warned us not to go inside. So here I am, in the Australian winter, outside in the middle of nowhere, with my 20-hour old McBites. I ate them. Less than three hours later, I got a 102 degree fever. It lasted for three days.
