I was going to choose a "regular" character, but it seems others have thought of the same. I am willing to change any of my 'stats' to accommodate anything needed. He feels the lower class are such a nuisance. Those filthy, unwashed heathens that seem to be everywhere, why would they allow themselves to live like that? Duke Vallencia is ambitious to a fault. He craves power and favor from the inner circle of the royal family. His House has been on the rise for 5 years now that his father has died. His father may have held too much empathy to allow House Attleborough to flourish as it should. Still, not being the most powerful house and not being part of the reigning dynasty means that a lot of people would have to die for him to inherit the throne. If that means he has to hurrying that along with a scheme now and then, it is all the better. If they were smarter, they would have thought of it first. Why should I allow you to join the RP: It looks like from all the submissions so far, everyone wants to play the nice type. With noble beginnings, Lancel had a deep desire to become a respected warrior and lead his people. He spent his childhood learning the art of war and behavior in Court. As a young man, he led expeditions into enemy lands, conquering territory for the Valnesse House, making him popular among the people. Upon his father's death, Lancel and his army marched back to their homeland. With the support of many of the Faymont people and his army, Lancel overthrew his eldest brother before he could gain control of the House. Currently, Lancel is devoting most of his efforts to consolidating his power. Lancel has a fiery ambition to bring glory to the Valnesse House, but lacks compassion and is a ruthless leader. He is militaristic, and relies on his blade to handle most problems. His ambition and arrogance are a dangerous duo, something that often gets Lancel into tight spots, which he of course handles through brute force. Despite this, he is tactful and well-read, and earns the trust of others quickly. Why should I allow you to join the RP: I think a militaristic House would be very interesting, one that could even attempt to claim the throne of the actual Kingdom itself possibly? He had proven himself smart and cunning and was offered a job at the royal palace. He was poor, and this opportunity could give him hope, but he turned it down for the life of the blade. His small size made him a small threat at first, but it also pushed him to his limits. He trained tirelessly day and night until he was approached by a soldier. "I am a soldier from the west." the warrior said. "I have traveled a long way to learn new techniques that are unknown on the other side of Minecraftia." Alex was at first intimidated by the warrior. The west was clearly full of warlords and armies. "Get up!" said Alex. "Do not expect to learn from any masters here. They will not train an outsider like you." The soldier was disgusted. Did he travel this far for nothing. "What is your name?" asked Alex. "I am Thomas." The soldier revealed. "I will train you. I am no master but I know a thing or two about swords." Alex said. His childhood was nothing but a blur because his parents died due to the bombing in their home town, he had no friends and hilv was the onley one that would teach him and train him for who he is today.
