[Suggestion] Kits and 1.9

I dont understand.

The original post was talking about SG.
which can be kept at 1.8 combat system.
Main worlds can update to 1.9 combat system, no one plays PvP atm anyway, so why not give it a overhaul for 1.9 and give it a fresh lick of paint?
Maybe it will make it different and worth doing compared to SG.

A great way to refresh PvP world while not having the hassle of trying to keep the 1.8 combat system in place for all worlds updating to 1.9.

 

It can't be kept at 1.8, but you can just not add the items like potion arrows and spectral arrows. Aside from that the pvp changes are good and balancing, not sure what people are complaining about.

 

I think it has something to do with kit refunding or some 1.9 issue.

It has one, it's just really low. The damage is also way lower.

Sometimes I do not get my point across very well, and I think this is going to be one of those times. I will still try.

I do not think a change in the game mechanics beyond the scope of what ECC is accountable for should result in any refund/compensation. ECC doesn't control the vanilla game mechanic changes. I think the understood disclaimer of buying any feature via donation is that this game is subject to change and you donate with that knowledge.

I can understand the frustration, and would rather support a change in the way PvP/SG is run, (Plug-ins or what is allowed/what is not - that type of thing), than getting behind a refund/coupon suggestion.

I also feel that doing what you suggest would lead down a slippery slope on other features in the future.

You say that 1.9 will ruin sg. I actually think it will make it better. More players will join because they have more of a chance. Which I think is better.

The thing that will ruin sg is this suggestion. If they offer to refund kits people are going to do just that and sg will die.

 

As of what I have seen, this is not going to be possible.

 

All I gotta say is... bow boosting is gunna be op in 1.9

 

you can get rid of the pvp cooldown speed with a damn command in a command block. just sayin

 

Just make ecocitycraft for 1.8 only

 

I'm going to lock this as it really, really will not happen.
