[suggestion] remove/reduce rewards from sg

I have like $115 in kits. If they lowered the amount that you won than what would be the point of sg? Hmmmm you could make more from pumpkin farming, which anybody could do.

 

The point of sg would be to have fun or get points for the medals. It was originally purely for fun, the way it should be.

 

I think that's the point of the suggestion, if I recall correctly.

Plus, saying how much you have in kits means nothing. I have $235 in kits, and I think oxwood is close to the ballpark of $300. We're advocating for this, no?

I guess I don't understand why nerfing SG is bad when people with $200+ in kits are finally crying "uncle" like the no-kit people for nerfs.

I like this analogy/response. A lot. As much as I try to avoid connecting to the real life economy, this is such a great example I had to give you props for thinking of.

 

-1 we paid for thise kits and we want rewards get it?! If i have paid over 250$ instead of selling that for over 1m ecd i expect to make that back. I hope this suggestion never goes through and try think of people thst have paid for this server to run and not just ur self or people that want to win without giving anything back.

 

If they reduced the amount of money you made from sg, there is no way I would buy more kits, and I think it would be the same for some other people as well

 

The awards were only supposed to be raised for the holidays and never intended for permanent increase as I remember it. I am stunned at the support for this suggestion from both staff members and kit owners and yet it still remains.
If this is to be the new economy, I would really like to see mining, farming, and fishing be brought back up to the prices before they were nerfed as I feel it is really unfair to punish players who have invested in star tools and much time to earn money that way.

Ok, that's your opinion, we have ours. Kits are awful for the economy.

The current inflation caused by SG is insane. SG used to not even give out rewards, and now it's up to $200 per kill.

The top five players alone have spawned in an incredible $11,792,500 off of kills alone. That's just the top five on the old system! I can only imagine the amount with the current system. Off kills alone!

Assuming each game spawns in $1,000 into the economy (which is much lower than what it actually is most likely), we'd be looking at close to $305,592,000 spawned in winnings! In winnings! We're looking at insanely high numbers here, yet nothing is done to control them! Yes, people paid for kits. But people also paid for eff7's, and when they got nerfed, nothing happened with them. I don't see why there is a double standard here.

I've found the problem. This is your opinion simply because you only have 2 kits, wich for one you have to wait 30 minutes to use. If you had kits, like me, than your option would be different. If you have a problem with money being dumped into the economy and being mad about it then I suggest you get more kits, or just simply ignoring sg. Problem fixed

 

Wrong. I've got one I can use every game, and I don't use spy at all. No, it still wouldn't be different. You cannot ignore inflation, that's illogical. Something needs to be done. Your arguments based off of opinion, not fact. I'm using fact to show the problem, while you are arguing based off the idea that you paid only $55 more than me for kits, that's an opinion, not fact. Come back with fact before you argue this again.

 

Your arguement is an option as well . Kit ccp won't do anything against kit bfr and Miq. Before you respond think of how you would feel if you spent 100+ on kits.

 

How would you feel if you spent $700,000 on an eff7? Or $1 million on a melon sword?

My standpoint is an opinion, but I'm backing up my opinion with facts, something you are yet to do. You've asked me questions on my opinion about, from what you're saying, "losing a donation feature". Please back your argument up with facts. I also have /kit ccpp.
