[Suggestion] Rising Spawn Town Rules

While I am against the overall idea of banning farms, I do know that large farms cause lag..

But then you have to think, I paid 5mil for a spawn town, thinking I could build a farm, and thats the main reason I got the town and I cannot do that, I would think I would be upset.

I think that Limitting floors is much more reasonable, and would like to say I have never lagged because of Wildehaven....

 

Wildehaven makes me lag if I go to that "half" or wall of spawn. I can't even go into the town without it being impossible to play. My computer is likely in the range for "average user's computer," in many aspects. Even on better computers, it significantly drops my FPS. Same with more beast computers - giant FPS drop, although playable on those computers. Point is, unless you have a new - and decent - computer, or a beast computer, you will lag. If you don't, well... I'm guessing all video settings are set to lowest and you often have OptiFine. (Note that when I say "you," it is general, not directly at you.)

And I understand the upset of paying several million, with the plan of a farm, but... As Staff (the ones who oppose this farm ban), wouldn't you also be concerned about the spawn and it's users? New users complain about spawn lag all of the time. Is it just simply about making money while moderating? There are many lag-free ways to make money with, and in, a town.

Limiting the layers would be good, in my opinion. Although, I doubt about 3 would "be enough to make money," unless all of Staff (again, the ones opposing this suggestion) got every gate town (1-4) and gave them each a few layers of farm.

 

Wildehaven has only 3 melon floors, the other floors are wheat,carrots, potatoes, pumpkins and sugarcane. If all you need is melons, then 3 floors of that is more than plenty.

 

My opinion on this is that the farm at spawn doesn't lag me, i don't have perms there (yet), but as revan stated earlier joseph has already laid down a large sum of money just so he can build a farm there. On the other hand i lag at spawn but it's not lagging the server so it's only client side so i will have to deal with it not change the server to fit my needs, it needs to serve the purpose for 200+ players.

 

I can't even use farms because of lag; I can only mine for money.
